Description: Take full advantage of the setting at Tides Restaurant & Bar at Peppers Airlie Beach. Pull up a bar stool or be seated at a table overlooking the stunning Whitsunday Passage. Admire the Coral Sea dotted with islands. The menu is based on local organic fruit and vegetables, fish and prawns fresh from nearby reefs, Queensland scallops, crabs and bugs expertly combined with the passion for food that Chef Gregory Devine is renowned for. The wine list will likewise be excellent. Chef Gregory Devine successfully infuses modern Australian cuisine with Asian overtones. Sourcing regionally, the menu is full of seasonal freshness and features signature dishes like Black Angus beef fillet with exotic mushroom crust and a delicious Valrhona chocolate dessert plate. Tides Restaurant & Bar is open daily from 6.30am to 9pm. Eat in the restaurant or have some tasty dishes delivered to your room.

We were recommended to visit The Tides restaurant at Peppers Coral Coast resort and it did not disappoint! We were seated at a table for two, over looking over the bay, the sound of water flowing through the water feature, soft music, the smell of fresh air and good food. The service was incomparable with Lucy our waiter catering to our every need, the food was a journey beginning with our starter plate of mini delights that exploded with favour, for a main we had the ‘four tastes of the sea’ with a prawn cocktail, grilled ½ shell Hervey bay scallops with a type of champagne mornay, pacific oysters with fresh vanilla cucumber noodles, tempura local reef fish and salt and pepper prawn, for dessert we indulged in the chocolate dessert plate for two it included chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate pots, chocolate crumble brandy snap with berries, at only $30 for the both of us it is one of the best desserts I have had in a long long time. As we were, I recommend you visit the Tides restaurant, an experience for you and your taste buds.
