The food was very nice and the service was very good, the only thing I could say is that I had to ask for cracked pepper but really not a big deal.

Yummy cocktails, try the Highball! We shared the antipasto to start, huge generous portions and yummy things like pate, olives, grilled vegetables, salami etc. the brie, stilton and cheddar were slightly out of place though! For main I had carbonara, not fantastic too creamy and no mushrooms! Mum had veal scallopini, huge portion again, she loved it. Lovely girl server, from England/Canada, nice and friendly.

We found Sorrento Restaurant to be average on food. Nothing special on the menu and when it came to ordering dessert, they had run out of most. We had veal and some lamb shanks both of which were good but really heavy on the garlic. We had to wait to get the waitresses' attention a couple of times and we ran out of water at our table.

What really makes this restaurant is the view from the upper balcony. It looks out over Abel Point Marina and the sea - at night it really is a lovely romantic view.

Oh - the chips here are great though!

This is a great bar and you can while away the hours with good company after a day out on the ocean. I would give it 5/5 for the bar and 3/5 as a restaurant.

This is a venue that clearly struggles to understand what it wanted to be when it grows up . You can chose with a bar downstairs, restaurant upstairs, cafe on the balcony or fast food pizza joint based on the food.
The menu reflected this eclectic mix and as is often thee case; as a result the food was bland, tasteless and a disappointment. The staff while eager appeared overall to be inexperienced. My rating is based on the quality of good presented alone. We would not revisit - maybe worth visiting for a drink or pizza.
