My wife and I walked the 3km from Airlie Beach to Cannonvale (and back) in early July and really enjoyed it. Plenty of public toilet facilities, places to sit and have a break and also plenty of beach access for those who want to do a bit of shell fossicking. Quite a few places to stop for refreshments as well. We had lunch at Banjos in Cannonvale before returning to Airlie Beach mid afternoon and would recommend this as a great way to spend a day while in the area.

Fantastic boardwalk around the shore following on from the lagoon. Great exercise if you like, or a pleasant stroll with scenic views all the way. Finishing at Abel Point Marina, ideal stop for coffee or a meal.

Walked the length of this easy walk along the foreshore nicely planned out for walking through park area, plenty of places to sit, relax and take in the views, also close enough to the shops for an ice cream or sit down at one of the coffee shops.

Easy and well maintained walk. We went from The Boathouse to Abell Point Marina and then back via the main road.
