We spent three nights arriving on a Thursday morning and leaving mid-day on the Sunday.
We had a top floor (penthouse) 2 bed apartment which had spectacular views from a large balcony and also from the master bedroom and living area. Great for a family but not if you were two couples as the second bedroom is at the back with no views and you would have to "toss-up" to see who got what room!
The breakfast (which was included on our package) on Friday morning was excellent with a choice from a menu and was freshly cooked to order. However on Saturday & Sunday it was pre-cooked buffet style and was very average.
The swimming pool was lovely and also clean, however it was showing its age and need a few missing tiles replaced. Although you could order drinks from the bar and take pool side, in the four hour session we were there, not one staff member cleared away any glasses etc.
The hotel is located on a very steep hill, however if you need it a buggy service was available.
It's a 15 minute walk to the town for shops and restaurants but you need a taxi back!
The hotel do offer a mini bus service, but the last into town is at 7.00pm.
Overall the hotel is pretty good and I would stay again.

We stayed a night in peppers and I would def recommend it. Awesome views as it's perched higher up, amazing self contained rooms and only a stones throw to town. We had a drink overlooking the pool and it was so pleasant just vegging out, staff very friendly. Most def will return.

I booked the 72 hour sale and quite frankly didn't know what to expect. The rooms were spectacular, the view was to die for. I loved everything about this resort. We had dinner at the restaurant on Friday night and the food was unbelievable. Staff there were very helpful and friendly. A big thank you to Rodney from reception and shelly who looked after our table at the restaurant. We will definitely be back

I used tripadvisor a lot for trip planning but i'm too busy and i felt i don't have time to write reviews. this particularly stay has started my tripadvisor 'contribution' journey! First I want to thank Jodi and her team for my time in Peppers - what a beautiful resort!!
I don't understand how this resort is not in the TOP 3 in Airlie Beach!

I read a lot of complaints about the steep hill but you know what? the steep hill is what gives you the beautiful view! no matter where your room is, you can always enjoy this beautiful view from the pool (not to mention they have an infinity pool!) if the hill is too steep for you, they do offer pick up service from bottom of the hill or you can just walk (only 3 mins). This resort is in one of the best location in Airlie beach, the view is amazing!

There are many wonderful things about this resort, to sum it up - the positives are huge spa bath, wonderful customer services, great view, DELICIOUS food at Tides restaurant so you don't have to venture out of resort. I don't normally eat at the hotel but i did in this occasion, I had 2 dinners and a lunch here. the staff are wonderful - Mitch and this bubbly lady, i regret not remembering her name. great service!! this is a great holiday i didn't want to leave...

Room Tip: ask for the top floor room for a good view. We stayed at Room 138 one of the best rooms!
