My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights over ski season.

Like many of the other posters have said, it is dated and old fashioned, but most of Jindabyne is. All places that are more modern, also have an exorbitant cost attached. The Jindy Inn may be dated but it is well kept.

The Jindy inn was fairly affordable, considering the season, it came with a a free buffet breakfast, which was very extensive. The rooms were big and heated. The heating did not turn of in the middle of the night either, something a lot of other hotels do.

The staff were very friendly and talkative, the manager (Not sure of her actual role but she checked us in and was managing the breakfasts) remembered our names from the first day, very nice.

It was a nice touch that they had ice scrapers for people to use on their cars every morning! Definitely came in handy!

Lastly, the position is a great location, we were on ground level and had lake views and easily walking distance to the shops, it would have taken longer to drive and park than to walk.

Only negative is that the beds aren't the most comfortable in the world, but I've also had worse.

Overall we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We were on ground level and at night our room would smell like the restaurant. That can be positive...

We stayed here over snow season. Our room was very basic with hostel like furniture and simple bathroom. This is a good base for Perisher or Thredbo, but don't expect much. It's fine, If you just need to come back to sleep after a day on the slopes. The Stone Grill restaurant on the ground level is actually really good and it made a stay much more comfortable.

I had a very cosy stay for 1 night at Jindy Inn. The staff were friendly and dedicated lived and went to immense lengths to help me with the TV in my room and fixing up with the FREE UNLIMITED wifi they offer. A beaitiful lake view from my room capped it all off. GREAT VALUE STAY, I would stay here again.

$110 for 2 adults and a small child including breakfast (23rd June). And wifi too! Older style place but clean, friendly, and central. Would definitely stay again. This is a cheaper option for those wishing to stay close to the slopes without breaking the bank.

It's a clean place, comfortable and with good views of the lake. Also not that far from the town centre. The owners are very nice, I would stay here again. It would be nice if they could improve breakfast options. Free parking and the wifi worked quite well.

Four of us stayed here for two nights whilst touring in the area. The owners Richard and Sharon made us so welcome and they were so helpful. Our two rooms were 12 & 13 on the first floor with superb views of the lake. The beds were huge and so comfortable. Bathrooms were new with a brilliant shower. Everything was very clean.
On the first morning we had a cooked breakfast, not to be missed!! This was served in the dining area overlooking the lake. The next morning we used the communal kitchen with all the expected facilities, which was ideal for us.
Overall, Jindy Inn was a good choice. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on first floor. 12 & 13 are definitely the best ones!
