I had a meal at Echoes with my 5 month old Son, Mother in Law and Mother - tough crowd, however it turned out to be a memorable meal. Firstly the food: could not fault it. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with the main of Beef being the highlight, but beautiful deserts as well. You won't find a better view either - we had a window table providing uninterrupted views of the Blue Mountains and its truly breathtaking. Finally, and possibly the stand out for all of us, was the service. Attentive but not overly. Polite but not too polite. Very polished and right on the nose. If you do not go to this restaurant whilst in the Blue Mountains, you're missing out!

Tiok my fiance last weekend as a surprise birthday present. The rooms are not huge for the price but very nice. If you get a downstairs room then you get an outdoor patio area leading onto the garden. Upststairs you get a balcony. Views from upstairs are better.....downstairs in the corner has limited views for the same price so try and avoid. My fiance had a massage and facial at the spa which she said was 1 of the best she has had anywhere in the world. I booked the all in bed, breakfast and dinner package. Dinner was fantastic...good sized portions and lots of choice. The staff even put candles in the dessert and sang happy birthday. If booking a table for dinner ask for a table with window view....we watched a storm roll in over the valley which was spectacular. We didnt use the pool at the hotel accross the road but it is free. Excellent location for all amenities and view spots in Katoomba.

This restaurant has an absolutely magnificent view, so if you are dining at night get there for the sunset, perhaps to enjoy a pre dinner drink on the balcony. The food is competent and the service is friendly, but it is not fine dining at it's best. The decor does not do much for the atmosphere, however who's noticing when there is such a stunning view.

We had a lovely meal at Echoes with friends whilst holidaying in the Blue Mountains. We opted for the 2 course menu ($80 per person) and the food did not disappoint (barramumdi and the trio for 2 dessert). We also had a our 9 year old with us who had the Children's menu ($40 for 2 courses), she loved the chicken and also the icecream with choc fudge sauce - we were extremely pleased that she ate all of her dinner for the price! This was a our one night out for the week we were there and it was a great night. Though the dinner was more expensive than we would normally pay it was lovely and we left extremely satisifed with the quality of the food and the fantastic view over the Jamieson Valley. The resturant is perfect for a special occasion!
