“Wonderful climb down into the valley”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

It's a lot of steep stairs but well secured and should be doable for reasonably fit people, but good shoes are necessary. What a view, what beautiful nature! And you do not need to walk back up, there is a cable car or a train at the other end of the valley.

“Good workout and lovely people”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

We had walked down to the bottom and climbed up! It was a good workout (900 stairs*2!).
People we met there were friendly and lovely, most of them were families.

“Worth the effort”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

I walked here from Honeymooners Lookout - a beautiful walk along the Prince Henry Cliff Walkway, and almost didn't go down the steps... They a VERY steep and uneven and you have to come back up the 120 of them...
So very glad I did though. The views are spectacular - quite different to be right there on the bridge between the first two sisters, rather than than looking at them from one of the other vantage points. I walked on to Echo Point and you can see the bridge - it was pretty cool to think that I had just been standing on that!

“Other Beautiful Places In The Mountains”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

It is such a popular place that it is too crowded to really enjoy the mountains atmosphere. You do get some beautiful views but there are many other lookouts that are just as stunning without the crowds and noise! Try Leura cascades for one- some lovely walks and great views, Blackheath keep going past the apple orchid Logan Brae and right at the end there's a stunning lookout and many other places about :)
Doing this walk you have to be ok going up and down alot of stairs. Not for anyone with bad knees or costrapobic- you constantly have to stop or squish past people.

“A trek for the fit.”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

The giant stariway can be access from echo point. It take about 20mins from the entrance to reach the stairway. The stairway is a steep series of narrow steps. It is advisable to be very careful while climbing the stairs. Although it is considerable tough for some, it is worth the climb as it brings you up close to the three sisters as while as different perspective of the blue mountain. Do bring lotsa water if you're visiting during summer.
