A lovely park right at the start of several trails . People were really helpful, so I got washing done with the minimum of fuss. The cabins were modern and well equipped. It's not very near the town, but worth it to be so close to the reason we were there

Room Tip: The cabin we had was very good

Thank you very much for submitting a review about our Tourist Park. We are pleased that the location of the Park was favourable for you. Many of our guests love the fact that they are able to walk across the road and find that they are right on the edge of the escarpment! An enjoyable walk along the Cliff Top takes you on a journey to the Three Sisters and beyond, not forgetting Katoomba Falls and the Scenic World complex that are incredibly close. We know we are biased, but we think that our location is one of the best there is.

We are also pleased that you were able to receive assistance from our friendly team which ensured that your stay with us was a positive one.

Thank you again, and happy travelling.

This park is clean, modern and good location if you don't mind a bit of a hike to town. We had an ensuite site and the washroom was really nice with special touches like a heater which is needed on frosty mornings. Easy walk to scenic world and close to Echo Point and view of three sisters and town but these require some walking up steep hills. We did not mind as some tracks along cliffs and helped to burn off great food!

We spent 2 nights in a Blaxland Cabin at the campsite.

Positives:
We couldn't get there until after reception closed but they left our key with instructions for us so we knew where to get it
Nice and quiet park
Very clean
Had most of the kitchen equipment required for making basic cooked meals
Air conditioning unit with reverse cycle for heat
TV/Large kitchen table/spare room for extra people or bags
Very clean bathroom with powerful (but small) shower
Park is right opposite the walkway to Scenic World
Very friendly and helpful lady on reception
Good price

Negatives (very minor):
First night was cold as we didn't arrive until 7pm so it had not been occupied all day, the second night was perfectly fine as we heated it in the afternoon (we went 10th May)
Nothing to wash up with but a sign in the kitchen asking us to wash up before we left

Overall this place was great and we would definitely go again and recommend it to others. It was a perfect place for a quiet relaxing weekend break.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Blaxland, it had 4 beds (a double and bunks) only the double has bedding but for 2...

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our Park. We were pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and we agree...the Blaxland Cabin is the perfect size for a couple! We were disappointed that you did not mention the oversight regarding dishwashing materials supplied for your cabin until you were departing - we would normally have this supplied in the cupboard underneath the sink, and would have been only too happy to bring it up to the cabin had we been aware that is was not replaced when cleaned prior to your arrival. It would seem rather silly to be asked to clean dishes and not be supplied anything with which to do so! We have also taken on board your comments regarding the cabin being cold when you arrived late in the day. For guests arranging late arrival times during winter we will ensure that the reverse cycle air conditioners are turned on when the reception area is closed. In that way, the chill will have been removed from the air - it does get quite cold here in late Autumn/Winter! Thanks again, and we look forward to seeing you again.

We camped for 3 nights over Easter. The park is in a nice position, close to picnic areas and the walking trails along the escarpment. Scenic world where the railway is is 10 minutes walk, at most. The centre of town is a fair walk away. The campsite was reasonably sized, the facilities were good with camp kitchen and plenty of showers for the size of the park. There was also signs up saying the amenities will be renovated over winter. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was good value compared to some other prices we've paid over Easter at other places. However, Katoomba turned on the weather for us which is not always the case, good luck for us!

Great location for access to the tracks and lookouts around Katoomba. A quiet leafy location within 5 minutes drive of the town. We camped in the unpowered section and the site was a little small but manageable. The ameneties were clean and fully functional and so was the laundry. The camp kitchen was great and was also very clean and usable. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Had no idea when we arrived how superb the location was. Most of the main attractions such as the Three Sisters were just over the road. On arrival, Margaret in reception, was better than any of the tourist information places we had visited, gave us maps, insight and suggested walks.
Our power site was good. Kitchens great, had hoped for an oven but as none had to BBQ with a brilliant group of people from all countries. Very quiet at night so a good sleep. Amenity block clean. Would recommend to anyone, it has been one of the best so far. Saved us miles of driving.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights, could not stay longer as cabins were all booked out. I found the staff very friendly. The cabin I stayed in was spacious, room to move. Good parking. Access into and out of the park was good. Best of all a 20-30 minute walk over the road to the cable car/sky rail. I would have stayed longer had the place not have been booked out.

Room Tip: Economical and spacious cabins.
