Impressed with its size. Service was great. Reasonable prices. Good quality sound and picture. Parking lot was large. A typical movie theatre.

We saw an evening movie at this complex during our recent holiday in the mountains, & while the cinema was very dimly lit outside & looked quite ominous in the thick fog, once inside it was clean & the staff were friendly, & we were surprised to find a great little arcade/games area within, if I'd had known that was there prior, I would've arrived a little earlier so the kids could spend more time playing before the movie! The cinema seating was comfortable & while it was distracting a first to watch a standard size movie play in the centre of such a giant white screen, you kind of get used to that after a while. We went on a Thursday night & there were only 6 people in the cinema with us, so a quiet night with the pick of seats! The popcorn & snacks were standard offering. Overall still a great place to go if you're on holidays in the mountains & its inclement weather or you need to get the kids out of the motel & wear them out a bit! :-)

It is a little run down and not very helpful to get information from. Granted we were there just after Christmas which is Boxing day. But was not put it on my list to go to. So much natural things to see. But thought it would be good for an evening break.

Thihs cinema "complex" was touted as beung a major attraction for the Blue Mountains. When applying for re-development the owners launched a public relations campaign, complete with market survey to entice customers. Among the many joys promised were: "multiplex theatre"; art gallery; function centre; restaurant; space for live performances; cafe and fast food outlet.

Sadly, the reality is a long way from the promise.

My wife & I visit this movie theatre infrequently to see latest release movies. Over the past few years its has simply faded with each anniversary.

It is apparent that the owner simply wants to extract as much profit from the assets without a care for the utility value of the customers themselves. For example: the lighting in the (under building) car park is nearly non-existant (bring a torch!); the stairwells frm the carpark to the building foyer accumulate rubbish and leaves at such a rate as to preset a fire hazard in themselves; the monitors at the sales desk no longer display the movie session times (they are blank and they seem to have been that way for 2 years); the staffing level is inadequate for the level of customer attendance; the air conditioning appears to be inadequate or faulty.

Further, the staff seem to lack the interest, training or initiative to help the customer. By way of example, we arrived 5 mins late for a new movie. After purchasing our ticket, approached the cinema only to find the door unattended (a hint here for those who are dishonest). The entrance to the cinema was pitch black (even the downlights were out), so we sought assistance from a member of staff outside (no, they couldn't be called an usher, since they weren't in the cinema). I simply asked for a torch to light our way to a seat - his response was to take out his mobile phone and say something like "it is a cinema after all". There can only be one response to that - enquire about the extent of their public liability insurance !

In conclusion, expect little from this venue other than an adequate cinema at a reasonable price. You will therefore not be disappointed.
