We really enjoyed this intimate hotel in the Blue Mountains after spending 5 days in Sydney. I must say that it was far too brief for us after a hectic tour of Sydney. Echoes has a superb location, very relaxing, quiet and the views were exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive without being obtrusive (our past experience in a small hotel). The food in the restaurant was also fabulous, in fact, our best meal in Australia. The ambience is wonderfully warm and romantic – lovely menu and open fires throughout. The bedrooms are simple and elegant and all have balconies overlooking views of the Jamison valley. Overall, a little gem..

Took a chance after reading a poor review, glad I did. The hotel had charm, great service and food. It rained so we never saw the view which I belive was to be the best feature but it didn't matter. Staff suggested the caves exploring since it had rained for the last two days and that was great. Lilfindels next door was too stuffy and formal for vacation time.
thanks to the staff and chef, excellent job.

We booked a package over the phone. They did not advise on the phone of their cancellation policy, only on the confirmation email which I did not check. We had a death in the family and we could no longer make it for the night we booked. They did not allow me to cancel it so we had to go. The rooms were quite old and run down - you would expect more for your money. Customer service was ordinary. Only good things - the view and the restaurant. Dinner was very good.

At the last minute I chose a deal at Echoes after noticing a good Sunday night rate - AU$295 for a room and breakfast for 2, booked by calling the hotel. The location is very good, an easy 5 minute walk to the Three Sisters and a 15 minute walk to Scenic World.

We arrived to a very impressive and dramatic foyer and were given "Whitton", a room at the eastern end on the upper floor. The views were excellent. It was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and not user friendly. There were no towel rails, not enough bench space and some floor tiles needed replacing. The shower was difficult and caused puddles on the floor.

The bar and restaurant are on the top level and also had wonderful views. The ambience was warm and pleasant, but the drinks and menu prices were a bit hefty.
Our room was noisy. It's position next to a door leading to the garden and a storeroom meant a disturbed night. The unfortunate planting of trees in front of the balcony means that the view from this room will not always be as good as it is today.

This hotel is a 4.5 star SLH but I'd say it doesn't quite reach the standard of others we've stayed in. Rooms under AU$300 offer fair value but next time I'll be trying Lilianfels, next door.

The best overall hotel experience my boyfriend and I ever had!

We thought that the regular room rate was too high, but due to low season we got a last minute deal with a 50% discount.

Blue Mountains is a wonderful spot for nature lovers with lots of tracks, views and drives. From Echoes Boutique Hotel you've got a lovely view of one of the valleys: Both from the restaurant and from most rooms. We stayed at the 1st floor and had our own balcony with a view.

The hotel and the room are nicely decorated in a modern but romantic style. There's a car park on the premises.

The staff is very friendly and the restaurant staff knows a lot about the menu, wine etc.

We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was really really good!

From our point of view, the experience was 100% perfect. The only thing we regret is that we only spent one night there...

I needed a exceptional place to celebrate my wife's 50th and I found it at Echoes. I had two other couples stay with us for 3 nights and we were all very impressed with the venue and location with uninterrupted views overlooking one of natures best works of art. The staff were wonderful being both courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and my wife was made to feel very special and we all enjoyed the personal service.

2. We have been traveling for sometime throughout Australia and were very pleased that we booked into Echoes Boutique Hotel for the last week of our tour. Echoes is a rare spot for quiet reflection and relaxation. We were warmly greeted by the staff throughout our stay and the restaurant was superb, in fact, it was the best meal we had during our tour of Australia.

The room was also very comfortable and airy. The décor is contemporary and not overly busy. Everything is functional and elegant. Most of all we enjoyed drinks on the balcony overlooking the Valley and the sunset over the valley is really memorable. The views were better than expected from looking at the website. The location of Echoes is also very convenient. It is smack in the middle of all major attractions but you do tend to get lazy after indulging in the food.

Overall, we were very impressed with our stay and would definitely recommend it for people seeking peace and privacy. It’s a very special spot !
