We had a casual lunch at Unique Patisserie while we were staying in Katoomba. We had read such good reviews about it, that we had decided to suss this out before leaving Katoomba.
We were impressed with the wonderful fusion of east and west. As it was lunch, we did not sample the Malaysian food, but the savoury pies we had were delicious. The selection of cakes and slices were so amazing, and someone at this establishment is truly an artist with his or her decorating skills. The cakes did not disappoint, and overall the prices were so reasonable. We would go back again, if we visit Katoomba.

What a fantastic little place Unique Patisserie is! Located toward the bottom of the main st, don't let the exterior deceive you, not just a Patisserie, but also a restaurant serving fine Malay cuisine. Some of the best authentic Malaysian dishes we've had since we were last in Malaysia! If in Katoomba, don't pass this place by.

Well as you do we trip advised this restaurant and thought to give it a try. We walked passed it a few times not taking in it was a bakery. Inside its clean and neat and there are lots of awards on the wall.

The food was truly amazing. We had starters of dim sum and Satay chicken which was great, and had a few mains to share. It was very filling and yummy! You are very tempted by the cakes that are next to you, but once you've eaten there was no room for them (so we took them away!!!) When the bill came we were also surprised how cheap it was. For 2 of us starters, mains, drinks and cakes it was under $50. A great place!

Concur the previous reviews, recommended by the local Hattery we had dinner last night. Pleasant and helpful staff, best Nasi Goring for a very long time and very affordable. Very clean and surprisingly modern premises do not be put off at the front door.
