We stayed at Lurline House for 3 nights, and were delighted with it. Great attention to detail and thought given by the hosts in all areas: room spotless and well appointed, drinks and biscuits on tray, sweets on bed each morning, lots of information and guides available to borrow, excellent breakfast range, and perfectly cooked hot fare. Peter and Suzanne gave excellent advice about local activities which helped us make the most of of our stay. Sadly we live too far away to visit regularly but if we could, we would!

Our stay at Lurline House was just perfect. Peter and Suzanne were just the most friendly and hospitable couple. We stayed in Room 7 which was just beautiful and stood on it's own in the grounds of the main house. We can't comment on the other rooms, but this one was just lovely and spacious with a spa bath. Lurline is really well situated and easy walking distance to the rain forest and cable car rides. It is also just a couple of doors down from a fantastic restaurnt (Pins on Lurline) where we had a super meal (it was recommeded by Peter and now fully endorsed by us! Have the Brochetta as a starter!) You will be really well looked after at Lurline House, breakfast in the morning is fabulous. All cooked freshly to order and served by Suzanne and her very friendly staff. As you go into breakfast you walk down the front path and the trees either side of you are full of dozens of Parakeets. So pretty. Can't recommend Lurline House highly enough. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 7 whicn is set a little apart from the House and has a spa bath. We loved it, but...

We booked two nights for three people on 7 April. When we arrived this elegant guest house, the extra bed already set with Lindt chocolates and water bottles. Very handy location, walking distance to everywhere. The buffet breakfast is the highlight of our stay! Susan and Peter will make hot breakfast as you wish, plus toasted breads, yogurts, plenty of fruits, cereals and salad; etc. we will definitely come back again!

Peter and Suzanne took care of all of our needs during our 2 nights stay on 15-17apr at Lurline. Clean and meticulously decorated guestrooms warmed our hearts. Loved the heated bed and spa particularly. Will definitely return! - jasmine

My partner found this little quaint B&B online and booked us two nights with breakfast. The hosts Peter and Suzanne are beautiful and amazing people. On day of check in Peter gave us a courtesy call to check on how we were travelling and I guess to get an idea of an ETA so he could meet us upon arrival.

Our room was lovely and very clean and nothing I could fault it for. We stayed for 2 nights and Suzanne at breakfast on our first morning recommended some walks to do which we ended up doing. We spent the first day trekking around the Blue Mountains National park and finished up at a restaurant new our accommodation called "The Rooster Restaurant".

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would gladly return to Lurline House should we ever return to the Blue Mountains.

We are new to the are (and to Australia) and arrived with bad weather (an absolute spoiler in this area). The warm welcome of the Lurline House owner and his recomendations helped us make the best use of our time. The house itself is lovely, clean and warm. We will definitely recomend it to all our friends and family that happen to travel to the area.

As a group of 2 couples touring together we originally booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but shortly before leaving the UK we received an offer to stay in the adjacent 2-bed cottage at the same price. We had no idea when booking that this facility existed and I don't know if any price premium is normally charged, nor can I comment on the main house and its rooms. However, I can say that we were very pleased with the cottage and would imagine the house operates to the same high standards. We still took breakfast in the main house and this was fabulous with an unbelievable range of options to suit all tastes whilst admiring the enormous cockatoos feeding outside. The hosts are extremely obliging, helpful and knowledgeable about the area with many useful tips on local activities (and weather forecasts!) and restaurants - they booked the excellent nearby Pins for us for our second night.

The cottage offered 2 good sized bedrooms, 1 bathroom with spa bath, 1 shower room (doubling as utility room), good sized lounge, kitchen and dining room, private garden with covered BBQ area and dedicated off-street parking. All the equipment throughout was of a high standard for a short self-catering stay and the decor throughout was charming. Touring wi-fi fanatics will be delighted to know there is unlimited free access! The only downside I would warn about the cottage is that the bath/shower rooms are not en suite and the shower room is at the opposite end of the cottage from the bedrooms, so we felt it would only really be suitable for families and friends who know each other well.

The location is excellent, halfway along the road between the town centre and Echo Point (perhaps the most important of all the Blue Mountain viewing points) and walkable to both in about 15 minutes.
