“Awesome place”

The guides were cool, the rides were updated and good, well maintained. Appreciated the use of traditional aboriginal names that the guides used when describing the sights.
The skyway was very sturdy.

“Just what the name says”
Reviewed 31 August 2014

Scenic - Awesome - World once you get on the Downward Rail, then a leisurely walk through the forest, reading all the history of the coal mining days. Chat to the hosts on all the rides - they have great information. Ask Questions. The Skyway is great over the water fall - don't forget to look below for the continuous fall of the water below.

“Best Value”
Reviewed 29 August 2014

My husband and I gave this place a go because of trip advisor. Free parking was great. Each ride was very entertaining but the train was our favorite and was the forest floor walk. Great place for all ages.

“A Blue Mountains Icon”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

The price is VERY steep for what you get, but it is a blue mountains icon. If you are visiting the Blue Mountains, you MUST visit Scenic World. I love the rainforest walk. It is all good.

“Highlight of the Blue Mountains....”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

We really enjoyed out time spent at Scenic World and highly recommend it - even in the rain. The facility is clean and well maintained and the options make the all inclusive ticket worth the price of admission. We enjoyed the Skyway tram which connected us from one peak to another with beautiful views of Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters in the distance and the valley below, once on the other side there is a walk way leading down for even more scenic vistas and I do believe there are some hiking trails from this spot. You can also rejoin the Explorer Bus from this spot if you don't want to go back to the main building. We returned to the main terminal and then took the railway to the bottom of the valley below. Now that was a unique experience!! The boardwalk at the bottom is well laid out and had a Jurassic Park feel to it. It was raining the day we were there but the thick canopy provides good cover, we followed the boardwalk which was well marked with various path options and then headed to the Cable Car section for the trip back up - here's the glitch, it was out of service - not to worry we went back up the way we came and the ride back up on the train was just as much fun in reverse:-) The staff are knowledgable , warm and friendly. We found their little cafeteria to be clean with wifi and reasonably priced for the location. There is a good sized gift shop offering a variety of typical items, also reasonably priced for the location. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a light jacket as it can get cool in the rain forest below. This was NOT a tourist trap, it was a good value for the experience, I got some amazing photographs and it was educational as well. This part of our Blue Mountain trip was definitely one of the highlights of my two month Australian / NZ vacation......
