We stayed the one night and it suited us well. The Common Ground Cafe is just next door, and it is a great spot for a meal. The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It is about 1km to the three sisters, and you can park for free at their sister hotel, which saves the exorbitant parking fee.
Breakfast was fine, a broad selection of dishes available, and other than some confusion with our booking, which was quickly sorted, we had no issues.

We enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Motel. The room was modest, maybe a little crowded because of an extra bed, but it was nice to have a table and chairs, kitchenette along with free breakfast included in the room rate. Windows that open to catch the fresh mountain air were a nice touch, too. It was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. There are stairs up to the room, you need to be fit enough to get your own bags upstairs.
There is a charge for internet; a sign advertised half price rates during our stay,
There are guest laundry facilities, you get a key to access the area.

Apparently, brewed Coffee is available for a fee in the lobby.
With breakfast there is instant coffee or tea, but no brewed coffee. The breakfast offers cold cereal, porridge, bacon, eggs, hashbrown potato, sausages, toast, juices, canned fruit, I found it more than adequate.
Great, quiet location with parking and a short walk to the centre of town.

Awful. From the unbelievably arrogant owner to the carpet that looked about as old as the 3 sisters. Only up side was the breakfast food and the staff at breakfast. I questioned the cleanliness and basic tired decor of the near 3rd world room only to have the owner I was lying 'champ'. Arrogant Neville!

We enjoyed a night in one of the spa rooms. It was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. Close to town centre and shops. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Good value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Couples should definitely book a room with a spa.

Booked a 'special' with full cooked b'fast. Room was in the old part of the motel, the original house I suspect but while a little on the small side was clean and well decorated. Would recommend to anyone who is thinking of travelling in the area. It is central to the town and only a very short distance from the tourist part (Three Sisters) where parking is free at their sister motel. Breakfast is in a large room with a good selection. Great stopover, would definitely stay again if in the area

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back of the main building of booking the special rate. Quieter

First thing to note is that this motel is one and the same with the Katoomba Town Centre Motel or Central Motel - important if you are arriving by train, because our taxi driver took us first to the Mountain Heritage Hotel.
This is a friendly and well run motel, exceptionally clean and well equipped. We found the air conditioning both quiet and efficient. Wifi worked and the price was reasonable. Laundry room is a great facility. The breakfast is good, circumstances slightly cramped when the hotel is full but no chance of enlarging the room in an old building like this.
My only disappointment was that our large and spacious ground floor room had a small window giving onto a high hedge, making it rather gloomy, and we had to keep the curtains drawn a lot of the time because there was the door to another room right outside our window. I would stay here again in a room on a higher floor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on an upper floor
