We live locally and come here several times a year. Good food, great value and very fast service if that's what you're after (we come with our kids when they open at 6pm and we're usually home by 7.15pm. Very good option.

You are going to love this.....Arrived at 7.30pm for our booking, seated in the most uncomfortable booth, cramped and with a bench seat that bent into the middle and tilted forward. The restaurant staff clearly run off their feet. After fifteen minutes we gained the attention of a very stressed waitress and placed our order. The entree quickly appeared suggesting that it had reheated.

After eating this acceptable food we then proceeded to wait a further one hour until our patience was starting to wear thin. During this time we made eye contact with the Maitre D' who advised he would be there in one minute and never arrived. We asked the Maitre D' for an update, he advised that he would check with the kitchen. After disappearing and reappearing we got no further response. We approached him directly advising him that we need to go if we could not be given some idea when the food would arrive. He said he would get the manager who was not forthcoming. We decided to leave.

When we made our way downstairs (our waitress apologized on our way past) we approached the manager who demanded that we pay for the entrees we had eaten one hour earlier. The overwhelmingly rude response from the manager, combined with having to sit in the torturous booths for over one and half hours led us to feel that they should not be paid for this appalling experience.

Nothing was explained to us throughout this entire process. We where just expected to sit and wait. Only at the end did the manager explain that they only had one chef on and that they had been totally swamped. So whose problem is that.

However it got worse. We left the restaurant pursued by the manager and Maitre D' who now saw himself as the bouncer. I think the restaurant was virtually unmanned at this point. They where yelling at us and to each other to get our number plate so that they could call the police. We gave them ample time to do this. They then started gripping the bull bar at the front of the car to prevent us leaving. This all on a public street. We slowly moved off whilst enduring a torrent of abuse and panel bashing. We finally moved free of them and made our escape.

At the service station down the road we surveyed the panel damage on our brand new vehicle inflicted by the Maitre D' and bought the kids some ice cream in lieu of dinner.

This wasn't the most amazing Indian meal I have ever had, but it was tasty and good quality nonetheless. Service was fast and polite. I also thought it was reasonable value.

Visited with friends who lived in the mountains. Great service - all staff at very helpful and efficient. Some tables are a bit close to each other but the place has a good feel. We would dine here again.
