My wife & I live locally and decided to have lunch for our wedding anniversary here. We looked up the website and saw a great choice of dishes. On being seated we were given a menu for lunch which only had PUB GRUB at exorbitant prices, since we were their we decided to have a Bruschetta/Hamburger each. We could do far better at a local club at half the price!!!!
Great views and a lovely old Hotel,Dont have lunch here.

Went for a friends birthday and two of us had the only vegetarian option billed as "rosti" which turned out to be two tablespoons of herbed mash accompanied by one tablespoon of greasy unrecognisable veg. The meat meals had huge servings of veg. We told the waiter we were still starving and needed the biggest dessert possible....it was "crumble" about the size of a 50cent piece, soggy lump of pastry with two slivers of rhubarb and half a slice of apple. fifty bucks and at midnight we went looking for a real meal. made real rosti at home today and real crumble

We decided to eat at Jamison's View Restaurant as we were staying at the hotel. We were not disappointed. Our main courses were beautifully cooked and very flavorsome. There is obviously a talented chef in the kitchen. The desert was quite wonderful and one of the best I have tasted in a long time. The views from the restaurant were really special and added to the delight of the whole evening. Table service was excellent - the waiter was attentive and intelligent, without being intrusive. We will definitely eat here again.

We visited the Jamison Views restaurant during our stay in the Blue Mountains during the 2012 Queen's Birthday weekend.

The restaurant was very cosily and beautifully furnished, and a pianist was providing soft background music which added to the ambience.

The table service was excellent, and the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The wine list also offered a very nice selection, and we indulged.

The head waiter, as we discovered, is also a wine lover, and he recommended we visit Leura Cellars, which we did, and where we found a coveted bottle at a considerably lesser price than usual.

It was a nice evening in a very pleasant environment with good service. We'd be happy to go there again.

Our group of 6 firends made a 15th anniversary trip to the Blue Mountains. We were looking for somewhere special for our celebration dinner and chose Jamison Views, in the Mountain Heritage Resort. We asked for a table with views and were given one in a corner out of the way of other guests which was just perfect. Before the meal we enjoyed drinks from the bar which we took into the lounge area. Staff were attentive to the open fire, and encouraged us to move the lounges as we wished to take advantage of the cosy fire. What a great start to the evening. The menu was reasonably priced, our waiter answered all our menu questions easily and willingly. The meals were delivered without undue delays, and were to a high standard. Mine was a little cool, probably because 2 of our group ordered steaks and other meals were held, but I refrained returning it to be reheated. The service was just right, not too intrusive while we enjoyed jokes and conversations, but just enough. I would return to this restaurant any time I re-visited Katoomba or the Blue Mountains. One word of warning, the signage on the street for the Restaurant, and the small access street to the Heritage Retreat were not easy to find, especially in the early evening darkness.
