Like some other reviewers, we also came to The Greens through using our Living Social voucher, otherwise we may never have found this delightful place to stay. From the moment we arrived Jacky made us feel welcome with the offer of afternoon tea with tasty home made cake and a huge range of teas and coffee to choose from. There is a wonderful ambience at The Greens and we felt very comfortable there. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A sofa in the room was an added bonus. Breakfast on both mornings was a highlight - the breakfast room has five separate tables for two and the table settings are superb. Breakfast consisted of cereals including home made toasted muesli and bircher muesli, both fantastic, then croissants, followed by a choice of three hot breakfast options, together with tea and coffee. The location is ideal being very close to the Leura Mall and we were able to walk to dinner both nights. We would highly recommend The Greens and will definitely stay there again when in Leura. An added bonus was the unseasonal snowfall which covered Jacky's beautiful garden in white and made for some picture-postcard photos!

Room Tip: We had the Barrett Browning room which opens to the front verandah and the garden - very spacious and light.

This was my very first solo visit to Sydney Australia, and I had decided to head straight up to the Blue Mountains for my first 3-nights there. Everything from the moment I arrived at Leura train station was perfect. Jacky was so kind to pick me up in her car, even though the B&B is just 5 min. walk away.

Stepping into the home took my breath away - it's beautifully furnished with an old-world charm, luxurious, spotless and comfortable... and the hosts' room is hidden right behind a wall of bookshelves (think Harry Potter), how cool is that? :) The Shelley Room comes with a jacuzzi double bath, the plushest poster bed and pillows, French doors that opened right out to the front porch... and surprisingly, a set of alarm-clock-speakers that came with an iPod dock ;) Perfect for playing some iTunes while charging the phone at night.

Breakfast in the common area was such a delightful way to start the day. Jacky and Claudio were wonderful and helpful hosts who made everyone feel at home. In addition to a ready selection of coffees, teas, juices, milk, muffins and cereals, Jacky serves up the most delicious cooked breakfasts each day in the prettiest dining ware - think fresh warm eggs, bacon and tomatoes, juicy sausages, cheese and toasts... everyone's spoilt for choice.

The location of the Greens couldn't be any more convenient - the Leura train station, the Trolley or Explorer bus stops, the Leura Mall, Woolworths supermarket, Bygone Beautys Tearooms / Teapot Museum, cafes and restaurants... all within a mere few minutes walk.

If you're looking for a warm, romantic, luxurious and personable B&B, look no further. I fell in love with this place, and will definitely return the next time I'm back :)

We have just stayed for 2 nights using a Living Social voucher. Unlike other stays we have had, we were treated no differently for using the voucher. Our hosts were charming and looked after us well. The home is a perfect mixture of old world charm with tasteful modern additions. The food was wonderful, from home made lamingtons to fabulous breakfasts, there was nothing we lacked. The location was perfect, once we arrived we did not drive anywhere. We walked to dinner, to the shops and to our bushwalk. We stayed in the beautiful Austen room where, after bushwalking for 5.5 hours the wonderful bath helped me to recover before dinner.
The only small complaint was that, as I am a very light sleeper, the heating woke me when it came on & off during the night. This was easily solved with some ear plugs!
We won't hesitate to return and will definitely recommend it to our friends & family.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet, ask if you want a bath.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Austen room last weekend. We actually discovered this place last minute and were lucky enough to call just after a cancellation and we were not disappointed!
The room was big and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable king size bed, a huge double spa complete with homemade bath salts and lovely period furniture. This period home has been beautifully restored and is literally a hop, skip and a jump from Leura mall. The hosts, Jacky and Claudio were absolutely lovely and have thought of so many little things to make your stay special - homemade lamingtons for afternoon tea, sherry and champagne for an evening drink by the fire, a delicious 4-course breakfast including tasty gluten free alternatives just to name a few!

Despite a full house and being on her own, Jacky was an amazing host and offered some of the best service I've ever seen. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and welcomed to the beautifully decorated and warm Shelly room, where we stayed for two nights. The spa bath was luxurious, the queen sized bed comfortable (if a little creaky) and the breakfasts were delicious and enough to fill us up for a day of bush walking. On top of that, they provide everything tourists to the area need, a cup of tea or glass of champagne on arrival, a wealth of information on where to eat in Leura, how to get around the blue mountains and the best tourist spots and a library of DVDs and Austar in the bedrooms for a cold night in. All in all a brilliant stay that I would recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: The Shelly room was more than big enough for two and had a great ensuite bathroom with a huge spa bath, the bed however was a little bit creaky, but with a comfortable mattress and plenty of soft pillows making it wonderfully comfortable. To top it off, access to the front porch was good for letting a nice cool breeze in and the thick curtains allowed for a little sleep in.
