My wife and I with our 17 month old daughter had the pleasure of staying with Jacky and Claudio this weekend. As hosts they are fantastic, the accommodation is first class and Leura is the perfect place for a getaway. We'll definitely be back, especially for another gourmet breakfast and spa bath!

Our room was well decorated it had a superb bathroom and a very comfortable bed.The communal areas are spacious and comfortable this was a great place to relax as the rain fell in the Blue Mts!
But our stay was really made special through the hospitality of Jacky and Claudio they really could not do enough for us and we are so pleased we stayed at The Greens. the breakfast is delicious too.

OUR Hosts - Jacky and Claudio were exceptional, so sincere and thoughtful making sure everything is was just as you would want it. You could ask for a nicer couple, thank you ever so much for a lovely stay. We stayed as a group of six.

Location- Fantastic, an easy very short walk to the Village of Leura

Breakfasts - unbelievable ! What a choice, this B&B has to be the best! Jacky and Claudio offered a unbeatable Breakfast, No one could go hungry here. Such a choice and the choice even varied over our two night stay. It was the little extras such as the range of chutney, the fresh jams, that Jacky had available, topped it off. A beautiful spread of cold food and then hot - perfectly cooked to order.

The Bedroom - Beautiful and Absolutely spotless! The little extras were everywhere, such as additional bath towels in the wardrobe. The range of bed linen to suit the mountain seasons and temperatures, etc, etc - Thank you

The separate lounge area and dining areas were exceptional. The lounges placed to accommodate separate groups or individual couples. Again thought had gone into this area as it came with everything you could want including a mini bar for your personal bottle of wine as your pre dinner drink before you went out for the evening and they offered complimentary port or sherry upon return. Coffee machine, a incredible range of books, I could go on. Again they ticked the box!

A final word - this is a gem, it has class and is warm, friendly and inviting. You will not be disappointed. Jacky, Claudio -Thank you again. Your professionalism and caring nature was so very genuine and appreciated.

Jenny & Colin

Jacky and Claudio, the hosts, made every thing perfect for our two nights stay. The breakfast was a gourmet three courses - both days were offerd three choices - cold and hot food for breakfast, all perfectly cooked. Dining room, lounge area was quite and peaceful. Real coffee available and a choice of teas set out and available all the time, along with afternoon tea. Our room was comfortable and the decor was beautiful. Spa and bathroom great. We hope to visit again! 21 & 22 March 2014. Best wishes from Peter & Fiona Bell.

This weekend was a surprise treat from my other half, to have some well deserved break from the day to day routine with kids.

From the time we arrived at this B&B we were embraced with very warm welcome by Jacquie and later on that afternoon we met her husband too. We were shown to our room and I just fell in love with the whole ambiance. Although I have always had a weakness for federation and Californian style bungalow houses. And we had a nice cool weather to go along with the whole picture.

This was the first for us both to stay in a B&B and we wondered why we haven't done so in the past.

There is a common area where port and cherry are at your disposal, homemade cookies and cakes and coffee and tea all by the fireplace. Magazines , library of classic and current DVD's you can take to your room and huge book selections from their wall to wall library all included in the price. The breakfast was very generous with delicious hot and cold selections of a fine dining breakfast all served in a nice china platter, not to mention great tea selections and barista style coffee and fresh juices to finish off a great breakfast and to kick off with a great start to the day.

The location is highly recommended. Within walking distance to Leura Village Shops with fantastic selections of restaurants and cafés and eclectic and vintage shops- just a small paradise. The main attractions like the Three sisters and others Blue Mountains are famously known for, are within reach as well.

For a ladies get-away, couple retreat - this place is "the " place. Not for those who have young children In my opinion but they did say that they could accommodate but bec of the whole set-up it is more for those who wants to get-away from the city buzz and perhaps just like us from the kids for the weekend!

Give it a try!

This place exceeded all our high expectations - we had read the reviews from other people and found this place lived up to all the wonderful things that have been said about this place. We had booked this for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it felt like the perfect indulgence. Jacky & Claudio made us feel so welcome. The location of the property is ideally placed just around the corner from Leura Mall, which was perfect for our dinner plans. We stayed in the "Austen" room and enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable bed and period furniture. Even the books in the room were themed. The sitting / lounge area was a sight to behold, particularly the door disguised a a full floor to ceiling bookcase! We live in the Mountains ourselves and often we get asked for recommendations for places to stay. The Greens will be my one and only recommendation. Thanks for making us feel so relaxed and welcome, we'll be back.

A beautifully presented & maintained property which is like a museum.
Rooms are tastefully furnished, ours was a little cramped with the 2 king single beds.
Lovely little extras - chocolates each night & a jar of sweets are on a bedside top. Water jug filled for the night. Sadly no air-conditioning-- a fan is provided.

Wonderful breakfasts daily cooked by Jacky with a great small selection which come piping hot to the table. Claudio makes top coffees that have an excellent taste, coming from a local roaster. The fine china & attention to detail at the breakfast tables is charming.

The lounge offers port & sherry, sparkling wine, tea & coffee & every afternoon home made cake of some sort--cup cakes & banana bread on the 2 afternoons we stayed. Newspapers are also in the lounge. A huge range of books & DVDs are available.
Service is always with a smile & the couple bend over backwards to ensure your every need is met.

Security is excellent. Parking is easy on street. Lovely gardens finish the picture.

Location is excellent & all is peaceful.

Recommended.
