I visited with a colleague and had time to look at the menu prior to their arrival. I thought that although there was good variety of food is was expensive. Average main was $22 which is hardly cafe prices. My chicken salad was $24, large and tasty but the bowl was largely lettuce.
Great meeting place for maybe coffee and cake but too expensive for main food.
Service was ok but not great.

We booked a small team lunch at the Dragonfly, early in the week. When we arrived we had to wait several minutes before anyone paid us any attention and was able to direct us to our table. Once seated, we were given one bottle of cold water and other of room temperature water for the whole table - given it was quite a hot day was "room temperature" was very warm.

The cafe was quite busy (80+ guests I would estimate) and when we ordered our food we were told there would be a half hour wait, which we accepted as we had plenty to talk about. It took nearly an hour for our meals to arrive, while other tables of equivalent sized groups that had arrived after us were served meals before ours. At least one item was visibly burnt, but by that time we were not in any position to send it back, so one team member had a very unpleasant meal. The other dishes were at best "OK" and were poor value for the price charged.

While waiting we had a great deal of trouble attracting the attention of the wait staff, who were quite obviously run off their feet. At one point we asked for ice to put in our water and were grudgingly given a small glass of ice to go around the whole group.

As a final indignity, the bill was delivered in a American Express folder, but when I went to pay there was sign saying AMEX cards were not accepted!

Not recommended!
