Went to this place about 3 weeks ago. Service was slow. Staff were friendly. Food was very bland with no flavour and not much variety. Ordered steamed dumplings, rice noodle which was so bland it was just plain rice noodle with nothing inside. Egg Tarts were quite good. But this place is below average compared to the city and Kam Phook.

My partner and I dined there for dinner and have no interest in going back. We ordered 2 mixed entree, 2 main dishes (nothing fancy, just standard fare), 1 fried rice, 1 glass house white and 2 diet cokes and our bill came to nearly $80! We were absolutely gobsmacked. To add insult to injury you are charged a whopping 2% on top of your bill if you pay by credit card.

The restaurant looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 70's and is looking very tired and grubby.

The quality of food was average and certainly not worth the price charged. Deep fried dishes where soggy instead of crisp. Very dissapointed, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

One of the best Yum Cha places I have been to, although trolley service can be slow at times. Prices are also quite good, when compared to other Yum Cha places on the Northern Shore.

A good well rounded local chinese restaurant. It has a better than average yumcha lunch. There is also a good range of fresh (out of the tank) seafood. The service is always good. It can get busy on weekends so get there early for lunch. The restaurant is located in the North Ryde RSL club which means you need to sign in or become a member but there is a handy kids club for younger children which you can access before, after or even during lunch if required.
