If you are planning to visit the Sunshine Coast (90klms north of Brisbane) be sure to see it from 14,000 feet !!
After undertaking a lesson on what to do when you leave the aircraft we took off on a lovely clear day - so typical of the weather on the coast. Sitting by the open doorway tethered to my flying instructor we gradually climbed to our jumping height. Before I knew what was happening we were tumbling from the aircraft and it seemed as though we were floating. The view of the Sunshine Coast was amazing and amidst nervous laughter I shrieked with delight. After the parachute opened we drifted down to our landing site right on the beach and landed with a very slight jolt.
This activity is a must - even if you are afraid of heights!!!
