From the friendly service on the phone, followed up at the service desk by calm, caring, efficient staff. The room was clean stylish and modern. Everything worked as it should. We have a young child and the furniture was safe and secure. She slept well here in the past she didn't find a hotel comfortable, we now have a great place to holiday again.

Booked in for a girls golf trip in a connecting room which had no washing machine, dryer had an out of service notice on it, the fridge did not work and the aircon made a lot of noise with very little air output. Complained and got told we could get tokens to use the commercial laundry. On the second day we were moved to a 2bdrm apartment which had great views but the aircon did not work properly and the beds were as hard as the floor . The cooked breakfast in the restaurant was inedible. We had two evening meals as room service and both did not match up to the prices they charged. The golf course was good and would like to play it again but would find alternate accommodation next time. It is a shame because with a bit if care factor this could be a great golf getaway.

Stayed here two nights over Easter. Overall the hotel was nice, nothing special but good, the room was a good size, it was in a nice setting overlooking the golf course. Note that there was only one restaurant at the resort and for dinning required driving to nearby towns.

This lovely resort is situated in Pelican Waters and is located right next door to the Pelican Waters Golf Course. When booking a room if you upgrade to a room with a view of the golf course, lake & overlooking the pool this view is very relaxing when you're sitting on the balcony. There is also a luxurious day spa on site to help you relax and loose yourself. Meals are nice in the resort restaurant. When staying you can book and play on the beautifully maintained golf course, where you often see kangaroos in their bushland habitat. There is free car parking on site. We stay often for a lovely weekend getaway and regularly visit the day spa....

Room Tip: it's worth the upgrade to a spa suite overlooking the pool, golf course and lake

Where do I start. We are from the UK but now live in Oz and therefore have travelled quite a bit. I have to say the two bed apartment at Pelican Waters was one of the best we have stayed in. It was huge, clean, modern and well set out. We were in number 505 and would request it again. It was superb. From check in to check out it was all terrific. The pools were beautiful although very cold but we did manage a swim. The parking under the hotel was also terrific for getting up and down easily to your room.
My husband and I are avid golfers and played the Pelican Waters golf course which I have now decided is my new fav course.
Stay at Pelican Waters you won't be disappointed.

Stayed here for a week in April 2014. On first impressions the local area was nice and was set in the rabbit warren that is Pelican Waters.

Checkin was fairly straight forward. No Credit card required for a safety deposit. I had booked a one bedroom spa suite. Room was spacious, couch for 4 people, Large TV in living room and smaller TV in bedroom. Balcony views across the 18th Fairway of the adjoining golf course.

Bed was comfortable, Large shower cabinet and a deep spa bath in the bathroom.

Sadly the letdown for this hotel is there is no WIFI on any of the guest floors. You can access wifi on the bar level (ground) However you need to pay $34 to access the internet for 3 days. Catch is the wired internet in the rooms is different from the wifi on the ground floor. Pretty stupid considering most people travel with tablets and phones in the 21st century and most hotels, self catering accommodation and bed and breakfasts have wifi for free.

Some of the staff at the hotel were friendly and when asked a question was able to assist. Some however were not as accommodating and you ended up leaving the reception even more baffled than before you asked a question.

There is a local cole's supermarket close by about 5 minutes in the car or 25-30 minutes walk.

Local golf course is lovely, a bit expensive to play. As a hotel guest you get a round and buggy for 75 aus dollar.

Restaurant in the hotel is nice, good quality food.

I have rated the Spa and Breakfast as 1 star as I did not use these services

We booked to stay 3 nights in a spa suite. Although the room was nicely presented, there is a lack of amenities because the rooms are not serviced daily. They say you can obtain additional toiletries from the front desk but there should be enough shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc initially provided so you do not have to keep asking for more. We ate at the restaurant one night which is very expensive & over rated. The meals tasted like they were pre-cooked & re-heated. There was no one else eating there (for a reason). I say to the management that your restaurant should be busy as there is a vast local area to draw from but can understand with this standard I see why you are quiet! Provide good value for money it always works!
