Wow, we had such a great time staying at Cedarbrae! The location is beautiful, the cottage is immaculate and Pam and Mike are the most generous and lovely hosts. We loved waking up and going for a canoe on the dam (where we spotted some platypus), feeding the alpacas was a treat and the fresh breakfast was such a highlight! We can't recommend this place more highly!

What a pleasure it was having this couple stay with us at CedarBrae they seemed to love the farm as much as we do and left our cottage so very neat, clean and tidy.
Many thanks Michael & Sam looking forward to having you back again sometime soon.

“Wonderful stay at gorgeous little cottage”

What a gorgeous little cottage - the pictures don't do it justice! Our kids were in their element amongst all the animals, and we were lucky to see the treck of the hundreds of neighbouring milking cows on the hills across the other side of the dam as we ate our delicious breakfast ☺ We even had a little fire lit for us at dusk, and the kids toasted marshmallows (and tried to keep them away from Daisy the cow!) We can't wait to stay here again for a little family weekend away. Pam and Mike went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable, and our kids did not want to leave!

Our getaway to Cedar Brae country stay was fabulous. The cottage was everything a family of four could ask for. The children loved the farm animals, swimming, fishing and exploring the property. Pam and Mike's warm hospitality and baked goodies made it feel like a second home.

“Idyllic! Fantastic hosts!”
Reviewed 22 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

This is such a beautiful location, only 15 minutes out of Gympie but you could be anywhere. Pam and Mike were fantastic hosts - they know about quality and the small touches. We really enjoyed the alpacas! As well , the rest of the farm animals of course. They are obviously loved so much! We didn't go on country drives but we could have - lots of see in the area. However, we just enjoyed the serenity, as they say, with a canoe, a few walks and some resting and reading. A perfect getaway for one couple or two!
Highly recommended!

“amazing place”
Reviewed 20 April 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Mike and Pamela first class hosts from the freshly baked scones on arrival to freshly baked bread for breakfast with fresh eggs. The cottage was extremely clean and well set up from electric barbecue on the patio overlooking the alpacas and the dam to the comfortable beds. Would definitely love to come back again sometime for a longer day. And would definitely recommend it to anyone.

“A very special place!”
Reviewed 20 April 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We would highly recommend Cedar Brae country stay for anyone with young children or someone who loves a peaceful, quite and breath taking surroundings to get away from the busy city life. We had the most pleasant stay at Mike & Pam's farm house. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and the animals (geese, alpacas, guinea fowls, chickens and the cows). The kids got a chance to feed and touch the animals too. The farm house was clean and well maintained with 2 bedrooms, living area, combined bath and toilet, a kitchen, also an electric barbecue outside. Next morning we had the pleasure of enjoying delicious home made bread and jam with farm fresh eggs, all complements from the owners. We were also very lucky to see the rare sight of a guinea fowl hatching her eggs under a tree in its own natural habitat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Brae country stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the true county life!
