We stayed for 7 nights and our accommodation was great for its value. Great central location and quiet on Fri/Sat nights. Very neat and tidy place to stay, great for kids and adults and central to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Found these apartments well placed, close to beaches and shopping. Nice having our own washing machines and dryer in the unit. Kitchen had most things you would need including a dishwasher. We were on the top floor so found the stairs a little hard going. Place could do with a really good clean especially benches, windows, bathroom and KETTLE (this was terrible - doesn't take that much to clean) etc. Cracked tiles in bathroom was quite dangerous. The worst part of this stay would have to be the BEDS. They were disgusting, hard with springs sticking into you - not a good sleep at all. Very hot. Staff at Reception were polite.

This hotel advertises that they have water views from most rooms. They say you can choose between Economy, Standard & Superior Rooms. We paid a lot of money to up grade to a Superior Room (it was New Years) so that we could see the water and fireworks from the balcony. Our SUPERIOR room was tucked in the back corner of the ground floor with no view and we were right above the communal bbq area. When we complained, we were told if we wanted a better room we should have gone to a better hotel. We were also told to go to Coles to get supplies for the room after only getting 1 roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay in a 2 brm family apt.
The manager also told me that the rooms on the top floor with ocean views don't sell for more than the rooms tucked into the back corner. Absolute lies.
I have never written a comment on one of these websites before this experience, but I felt cheated and ripped-off and since they already had my money, they could not have cared less. Very disappointed.

Jenny and Mark were great hosts. We holidayed with friends from the UK and had an apartment for each family. Great value for money and ideally situated. Walked to the Esplanade for dinner most nights (Cracked Pepper was a favourite!) Kids had a great time in the pool. the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment which made cooking Christmas dinner for 2 families a lot easier.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor and had very little noise from the road or revellers. Bedrooms are at the...

As other reviewers have said, this hotel is in a great location. The staff are really nice and friendly and helpful, can't fault that. The room we stayed in is getting a little dated but it has nice furnishings and is quite clean and comfortable. Sadly it was very noisy being beside the road - double glazing would help enormously. The traffic and noisy revellers walking by did bug us, so take your earplugs or ask for a back room.
