Decided to dine here on the last night of our trip and what a great place to enjoy superb views over the beach. It was a well laid out with linen tablecloths and very attentive staff. It really had that feel you were going to be pampered and we were. Both dishes, lamb backstrap and eye fillet were exceptionally cooked and we were able to amend our choice to suit us. It is pricey but well worth every dollar.

Coming from a town that has 1st class restaurants it was a pleasure to dine at The 4th Floor Restaurant .Ambiance, Views, and decor were excellent. Entrees were tasty and well presented.
Mains were also a hit with the 4 diners present. I like a blue steak and my grass fed rib eye fillet was cooked perfectly with plenty of flavour and tenderness. Overall a good night out.

Family lunch was very disappointing due to very slow service forgotten orders and a lack of professionalism. Waited to place orders, waited for additional drinks and waited for food. I don't know if they had issues in the kitchen but it was far too long to wait 20 mins for entrées after forgetting the bread we ordered. Then another 35 mins for mains. The food was fine but could not get sliced veges for our dips as their next vege order was not due in until Tuesday! I don't know what means!!
Surprisingly the food was great, had the eye fillet steak which was lovely and cooked to perfection. The other meals Risotto, chicken pan fried were also very nice, just a shame it all took so long.

3 of us including teenage daughter dined here one evening in April. View is lovely as we were fortunate enough to get a window seat. A positive here is you are in a restaurant and not on the pavement with everyone walking past as you eat. The night we went it was VERY quiet, only 3-4 tables of people. We felt the restaurant lacked ambience, not sure if it was the old fashioned way of table set up (just feels 1980 ish) or due to lack of people. We all had entrees, Daughter had a steak for main & partner & I had seafood. Daughter & I shared Choc fondant for dessert which was also nice. Our meals were very pleasant but not outstanding, not sure how much the poor ambiance contributed to our lack of enthusiam/enjoyment of this meal . We like the touch of linen table clothes, not often seen in touristy areas. all three of us enjoyed our meals and if in Mooloolaba again would probably return.
