We stayed for one night at late notice, and were welcomed by the staff at reception when we enquired about a vacancy, as opposed to several other places in the area that would not provide a room for one night, even though they advertised vacancies. Price was $179, I have stayed in similar accommodation for cheaper elsewhere in Qld but this seemed to be a reasonable price compared with other places in Mooloolaba. The sign out the front said rooms for $159, I'm not sure why we weren't given this price but I have to admit I didn't ask.
Our room was fairly spacious and clean, with a big balcony overlooking the pool. It is like a small apartment with a bedroom separate from the kitchen/living area. If you wanted to stay for longer it had everything you would need in terms of kitchen equipment, and your own washing machine and dryer. The furniture in our room was more modern than what is shown in the photos and seemed quite new.
The location is central, a block or two back from the beach in one of the main streets, so no beach/ocean views, but it's very easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and wharf precinct.
Plenty of secure undercover parking close to the rooms.
The pool area is small, but quite nice with a good spa.
No noise from either the street or other rooms which was good.
