“Relaxing and a great family beach location”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

We loved our stay, and would have stayed longer if we had the time. Location was perfect, to beach, eateries. Fantastic beach views, and apartment was very well set out, furnished, clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: sea views are worth it

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at the Landmark Resort. The location is GREAT - we ate at a different restaurant each night and all in very easy walking distance And you only have to cross the road to the patrolled beach!!! . Whilst this resort is not the newest and the decor was a little dated in our room, it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the TV was a good size and we had a lovely deck to sit and have coffee. We were impressed with the security - card access in elevators and at door entry at night and also for access to the gated underground parking..The pool was lovely and the roof top spa and barbecue had awesome views. The rooms are self-catered which we did not mind as the price was so good !! We were a late arrival but this was no hassle and we were easily accommodated. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we return to Mooloolaba we would definitely stay again.

I booked a one bedroom apartment for 2 nights based on the location but just didn't want to leave so I stayed another night. Despite the view of the back of the shops, the apartment 215 is comfortable and well furnished and the Landmark has great amenities, nice pool & spa. You can only just see a tiny bit of ocean but you can certainly hear it. The Coles supermarket is just a short walk away and you are spoilt for choice for restaurants and takeaway food but read the reviews. Didn't need my car at all. To be picky carpets are a bit stained and would've loved a sun lounge for the huge south facing balcony. Would definitely stay here again right next to my favourite beach.

We stayed here for a week in August, 2014 and found the Landmark Resort to be very well positioned, clean and affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony that gets a view of the sea and either morning or afternoon sun. Great value.

Me and my 6 yr old son stayed for 2 nights in a one bedroom ocean view apartment (room 791). From the moment we arrived at reception we were greeted by amazing, helpful, polite staff. The staff were so amazing with my son. We got up to our room to be greeted by a beautiful view of the ocean and the surf club. Even the bedroom had an amazing view of the ocean. The room was also very clean and fairly modern.
My son had a blast in the games room, which we visited a few times. Whilst the rooms are not huge, it was certainly big enough for just the 2 of us. We had a spa bath in our room, which is a huge step up to get in and out of the bath, but we still loved it! It was so close to everything, shops, restaurants, Underwater World all within walking distance. As it rained the whole time we were there, we drove to most places so my son wouldn't be so cold. I got seafood from Mooloolah fisheries, which was simply divine. The room didn't have a tea towel, so you really need to bring one with you, or some paper towel, which I did. My only complaint about the whole weekend was that it was just not long enough. I could easily have stayed there for a good week or so. I usually stay on the Gold Coast as it is closer to home, but I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of Mooloolaba compared to the rush of the Gold Coast. Would stay again in a heart beat!! Thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating and just generally lovely

Room Tip: Well worth getting an ocean view room. Room 791 is on the side of the resort with a south easterly...
