Whilst the pacific beach resort is a little dated it was a great location and our 2 bedroom Beachfront apartment had fantastic 180 degree views. We were about a 200-300 metre walk from the patrolled beach. Pacific beach resort is amongst all the lovely shops, cafés and restaurants of Mooloolaba Esplanade. Coles is not far for grocery items. Down side was that their was only one air conditioner in the lounge room and whilst this was not a problem in the bedrooms in April, I think the bedrooms would be quite hot in summer. Also their was only one TV & reception was not consistent. Nonetheless we enjoyed out stay and would recommend this to others as it was value for money.

Dear Parto69,
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay here at Pacific Beach Resort. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and found our views and location fantastic. Whilst not all of our apartments have a second air-con unit in the Main bedroom (This is up to each individual owner), we can direct you to other units which do have this facility when booking.

Once again, thank you for your feed back and we hope that you enjoyed your stay!
Kindest regards

My husband and I are regular visitors to Pacific Beach Resort in Mooloolaba. We visit to enjoy complete relaxation to unwind from our busy business. We thoroughly enjoy our beachfront room with uninterrupted 180 degree views from the balcony where we enjoy breakfast each morning soaking up the sun. Our room is always well presented, extremely clean and has all the features we require during our stay. The fantastic location is ideal with a wonderful variety of shops, including food outlets directly underneath; also supermarket, bottle shop close by to source your daily supplies. To walk across the street each morning to go for a walk along the beach is a beautiful way to start our day. As business owners dealing with the public on a daily basis we are continually impressed with the wonderful service provided by Deyarn and Norm on each visit. Their attention to detail is outstanding and if any minor issues arise during our stay they immediately take measures to fix. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We can't wait for our next visit! Elaine and Geoff Geelong.

Room tip: We stay in the same room on the 8th floor each visit with the balcony at the front capturing 180 degree views.

Disappointing is the one word that will sum up our experience at Pacific Beach Resort. Although this is a centrally located facility, close to lovely Cafe's and shops, they have definitely overused the term 'Resort' when it is applied to this premises.
As a couple we booked three nights. We were provided with a minor bedroom (the master bedroom and ensuite was locked and not for our use) which only had one bedside table and not enough room for our bags to go on the floor. We were told that we given the minor bedroom as the main bathroom had a washing machine??!?! We weren't there to do washing and I'm not paying that daily rate for a minor bedroom with only a double bed! If you wanted to use the pool you had to hire pool towels for an additional charge. This 'Resort' was not serviced for the length of our stay. If you required additional towels or toilet paper, there maybe an additional charge. If you don't leave the place clean and tidy there would be an additional charge of $35.

We have previously stayed in Mooloolaba and will again but not in a fake 'Resort'!!!

Dear Lucinda W,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay here at Pacific Beach Resort. I am disappointed that you did not enjoy your time with us. On your arrival you where in fact upgraded to a larger 3 brm apartment, and as is commonly done and based on your 1 brm purchase price, the other 2 bedrooms were closed off. This allowed for you to have a much larger living / lounge area. The bedroom is as large as our standard 1 brm suites with a Queen bed, and, also as is common practice, we provide guests with all laundry facilities throughout there stay.
Guests are more then welcome to use the pool at any time and there is no charge to do so. As an option, for guests who do not bring a towel, we do hire pool towels at a basic cost of $2.00 per towel for the duration of your stay – this simply covers the laundry cost.

Whilst we do not expect guests to clean while they are on holidays, common courtesy would suggest the unit be left in tidy manner.

Once again, we are disappointed that you did not enjoy you stay with us, however would have appreciated that this be bought to our attention whilst you were still in residence. We would have been more than happy to relocate you to the standard suites.

Kindest Regards
Norm Vitelli

Pacific Beach resort was fantastic, notghing was too much trouble. Very clean and tidy although the car park was a little smelly at tgimes.

Good access from car park to rooms with big trolleys provided. 3 rooms per floor all with sea views.
We were on 5th floor which was quiet good views North although a little inhibited by front rooms and block next door but very nice indeed. NthEasterly wind was very cooling and blew directly into apartment, didn't need AC moast of the time. Unit was tuiled clean and had everything we needed, lounges were good and also enjoyed views.

Table and chairs on balcony seated 6 comfortably for meals as did the dining area inside.

2 Bedrooms 1 with ensuite were a good size with main having a large walk in robe.

resort is centrally located in mooloolaba with walking to restaurants shops and beach, we obnly needed to use car when we were going further afield to Maroochydore or Buderim.

Room tip: Nth facing rooms have great outlook but also look into the next appartment block

The resort is a great option for a family holiday in Mooloolaba. The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Have stayed at the resort twice in different rooms and on both occasions the rooms were clean, spacious and had spectacular views. Pool and BBQ were well-kept and easy to access. The staff were very friendly and also happy to offer advice. We are looking forward to returning next year. The only recommendation would be easier access to the car park, perhaps with a remote system.
