We spent a week at the Peninsular in one of the self contained apartments with beach front views.

The accommodation was awsome, clean and tidy upon arrival, spacious, great sea views and modern, all of which made our first visit to Mooloolabar an enjoyable one. We really liked the location of the Peninsular being on the main street as it was easy to get to the buses, shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach! The staff that we met were kind and hospitable. Other highlights were the free WI-FI, this enabled us to do some work while we were away.

We totally reccommend you to stay at the Pennisular!! :)

Room Tip: level 5 facing the beach are awsome rooms with lots of sun

The rooms are tired and outdated. Location is not bad with cafe's and restaurants close by. The glass is not double glazed thus all the street noise and adjoining units party's can be herd. Reception staff were rude and un-inviting.I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The only positive was the view.

We stayed in January and loved it. We decided to try our luck to see if they had a room with balcony facing the ocean. After a quick check the friendly staff informed us they had just what we wanted. I found the Peninsula clean and modern with air conditioning and a fully set up kitchen.....and we can't wait to return in March. They have a wonderful pool and Tennis court...barbecue facilities are also available. The views are sensational and being directly across road from beach is an added bonus. Do yourself a favour and go. The Surf Club is a must too.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the beach are great. Worth the extra.

We have recently returned home from what would have to be the best holiday that we have experienced! This is our first visit to Mooloolaba & we researched a number of apartment complexes before picking the Peninsular as our destination. We arrived by coach to the resort & were greeted at the main entrance by the Manager who kindly assisted us with our luggage (as my wife packs like we are going away from 1 month). Our imediate impression was 'wow' when we entered our apartment on the 3rd floor, the views were stunning & the apartment was simply amazing! The apartment was well presented, modern & very well equiped for our weeks stay, we even found a number of DVD's, books & activities that we made use of on the one day we had rain.....not to mention the free WI-FI. The resort has fantastic facilities & would be the best location in the town, we were going to hire a car but given the location we didn't worry about it. The staff were fantastic & helpfull in every way....we give this resort a 10 out of 10! Can't wait to come back for out next visit

Recently stayed here for 5 nights. We arrived expecting a lovely refurbished room (as requested) but arrived to an old room, expecting a lovely beachfront room which was disgusting. We had to ask reception if the room could be re-cleaned as the room felt like people had just walked out and cleaners had not bothered arriving. First impression - lets stay somewhere else, but everything else was booked out Reception were great and very nice about the issue. The cleaner was lovely, but asked us which parts we would like re-cleaned. We showed the areas in which needed to be re-cleaned (pretty much everything - dirty benches, dirty side tables in bedrooms, sand all over the couch, dirty floors, finger marks over cupboards and dirty cutlery draw). Only the sections we asked to be re-cleaned were, we felt better but still the room was not clean. We have previously stayed here and had a nice room, this time was a lot different and i would not be going back here.

We arrived to find our car park had been taken by another guest. We were given the key to our 3 bedroom 'completely renovated' apartment to find it had not been renovated at all. In fact it was a complete dump! Floors and surfaces had not been cleaned. Hair on the floor. A dirty mop in the laundry. Mould and hair in the bathrooms. No fly screens on windows or sliding doors. Carpet was sticky. Bed linen was old, not fresh and we found hair in it. Worst of all when I pull the bed out from the wall there was thick grey dust at the back of bed - it had never been cleaned! We complained to the manager and he blamed the cleaners. And The hotel is rated 4 star!?!? It was a complete dump!!

We could have stayed for a month. Very relaxing and comfortable. So good having two bedrooms two bathrooms and a laundry. Fully self contained. These apartments are not serviced everyday like a hotel so if you don't mind making your bed and using the same towels for a few days then its not a problem. The views are spectacular and the beach is directly across the road. We had room 71 on the 5th floor. The Peninsular provide a few packets of coffee and tea and a small amount of washing powder so bring extras. There is a Coles close by for all your shopping needs. Lovely to sit on balcony having a drink in the evening. Staff were very friendly and I would definitely book an ocean view room again.

Room Tip: Choose an ocean view room.
