“Good value ”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 via mobile

A little costly but great for value dishes. We had 1 entree, 2 mains and 1 dessert for a bit less than 100. The waiting time was good and the presentation was nice too.

We ate at the Sea Life Centre, Bicheno Tasmania tonight. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Worth a visit if you are in the area!

“a Seafood lovers must do”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We had three days in Bicheno, and decided to try this restaurant for lunch on the last day on the recommendation of some locals. We were told it was not cheap but very good quality.
The service was professional and quite prompt. we were fortunate enough to score a window seat to take in the marvelous view. the food came out beautifully presented and the chef presented beautiful flavors and quantity of food to satisfy any hungry seafood buff. make sure you go there if in the Bicheno area.
The atmosphere was a little dated, but when looking out of the seaside window that didn't matter.

“Loved it”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

We went there on a Saturday night as the RSL weren't doing meals and we didn't want to go to the pub. We ordered the herb cob loaf which we didn't have to wait very long for and the seafood platter and Fish Of The Day which was flathead. Both were great, the platter was huge, salmon, prawns, oyster, crumbed flake, battered scallops, crumbed calamari, salad and chips with house made tartar sauce and aioli. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't a bigger range of fish on the menu but we enjoyed what we had and there were other interesting dishes if seafood isn't your thing. The have a lovely range of house made desserts too. Great ocean view, gift shop and info area, wood fire was nice, service was great and it had a nice vibe. We will definitely be back in summer.

“Tender Seafood ”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

Best scallops and most tender squid since can remember. Salad was super crisp and fresh. (Surprised they don't remove the removable crayfish page from the menu when there is none. Also out of oysters. I arrived 7.10 pm) Found the shells for sale and the shell museum fascinating. Super friendly service.
