“Great inner city stay”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

I stayed at this hotel for a work conference recently. Rooms were spacious, modern and with all mod cons. Super comfortable beds, excellent air con (easily turned down or off at night for sleeping), fantastic showers. Rooms all off main road, so super quiet. Free Wi-Fi a bonus.
Beer Bar great, as was lovely Italian eatery on opposite corner.
Conferencing facilities great, and staff very attentive.
A great stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are located at the back of the hotel, so are very quiet.

I stayed at this hotel for work and was pleasantly surprised. The room had a balcony, king size bed and was very spacious. The toiletries were not cheap in quality and the shower head was much bigger than an average one. The air conditioning was superb and would have to be the quietest and most efficient I have encournered in a hotel room. I ate at the restaurant every night and cannot complain about the food.

Not sure I would recommend this hotel to a tourist who wants to see the sights of Melbourne, as the city is a 20-30 minute tram ride away (more in peak times).

Stayed here on business as it was close to the venue. The hotel is great with with good sized rooms. It is quite a trip to the city. The brewery was fantastic as was the steak house next to it. Great suburban hotel highly reccomend it.

I was doing business in the neighborhood, and the hotel was recommended by the client. I was fortunate to get a one bedroom suite - and it was nicer than many apartments I have rented. The staff was extremely helpful in explaining how to use the trolley system, and where to find shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is nice, and there are many others in walking distance.

Loved the hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a brewery in the pub which served wonderful craft beers. The hotel is modern, clean, the rooms are big and it is the perfect place to recharge after a busy day. Will certainly return.

We stayed in a king spa unit for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The valet parking was always speedy and never kept us waiting. We ordered room service one night from the on-site restaurant and the food was delicious and delivered very quickly. There was a bit of activity in the hotel when we were there (a seminar of some sort) but our room was always very quiet and peaceful.

On to the unit itself. The room was clean and the furniture and fittings were all modern and in good condition. It has a impersonal, business hotel feel, but the furnishings were good quality and comfortable. The balcony was a nice touch. The main living room felt smaller than the on-line photos and the two seater lounge was a bit small for two to comfortably share. Other than that, the room was great. There was a clean and functional kitchen with everything that you might need for normal cooking. The bedroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were high quality. The bathroom was large and modern with reasonable storage, and the spa was great. Unfortunately the shower leaked badly during every use and I question the decision to have a rain shower without an accompanying hand held shower. It won't make sense until you try it... but nice as they can be it is awkward to wash properly under a rain shower.

One thing that we loved and appreciated was the TV internet for quick internet checking. There was a handy iPhone dock/charger as well.

The local area has a few cafes and a chemist across the road. As mentioned before, the hotel restaurant was wonderful. We popped in for drinks one night and that was nice too. Your options for other food is limited in the immediate area, but there are plenty of places in easy driving distance.

We would stay here again if we were in the area, and would recommend it to friends.

Arrived and got a free upgrade to the spa room *happy dance*!!!!

After arriving we went down to have dinner at the resturant and damn it was good! Hot wings and the bombe Alaska were highlights. My husband was also in his happy place with the on-site micro brewery.

But the best part of our stay so far has to be the room! Massive tv in the lounge, very spacious and well appointed kitchen/dining area, an amazing bathroom with spa and the worlds most comfortable bed! Oh and if you're an apple fan, you're going to love it here!!!!

So far it has been a wonderful place to stay with our little 7 month old daughter.

Little tip: if you have the entertainment card, book through that, we managed to save around $50 for the two nights (price compared to wotif). Also if you are traveling with an infant, bring your own portacot, my husband rang and discovered the rates for cot hire were $25 a night.....
