This place just takes your breath away literally. The walk down to the base is 200 meters of steep steps. Coming back up is a challenge, there is a bench midway to help catch your breath. The view from the base of falls cannot be described ib works and is worth all the energy needed to get there and back. If possible time your visit during the rainny season the falls would be massive. Entry is free to the park but please have cash to spare for voluntary donation which is used to maintain the park.

I was so pleased to have made it here to Erskine Falls.

I hadn't realised that it would be such a hike to get to the base of the falls... and to get back up to the car park! But it was well worth the effort!

Had our Labrador with us as we were on a pet-friendly holiday, got all the way to Erskine Falls to find out no dogs are allowed - should have known better I guess but was very disappointing

Just a short drive from Lorne (approx 10 mins), even the kids enjoyed this excursion! It was well worth the climb back up from the bottom, although there are a lot of stairs so you need to be fairly healthy to go to the lower platform.
