“Stunning views, perfect location”

We had purchased a 2 night package & were so pleased when we arrived. Situated on the point with the most beautiful views from our room, & also from the enormous balcony where u can sit in peace & enjoy the cockatoos that joined us with the view & a drink. Room was spacious with king sized bed. Quality towels, extra pillows & blankets all supplied in room. Beach is across the road, with Lorne only a short walk away along the tree lined beach boardwalk. We ate at both the hotel restaurant - meals were very filling, & down the street at the numerous cafes & restaurants.
We will love to come back one day!

The four of us had a meal here. We were allocated a window table at short notice.

Kids meals cost $13 and include a colouring pack and ice cream. The kids pizza was largely uninspiring. It was mostly uneaten. The kids fish and chips was good but small.

I had the param. Usually I can finish a parma despite the way it was cooked. But there was something about this that I didn't enjoy...maybe too soggie. I left it half uneaten. The chips were good. The salad dressing too sweet.

My partner had a seafood tasting plate which was enjoyed.

The service was prompt, but not necessarily good. Prompt in the way that they would like us to hurry up and move on so the next people could have the table.

In all a bit disappointing. Gave it three stars because two of the meals were good. Wont be back.

With a purchased deal Voucher, we booked three nights in a two bedroom apartment at The Grand Pacific Hotel. The unit was quiet, spacious, basic and had a wonderful sea view. We enjoyed a leisurely buffet breakfast each morning which was more than adequate. We ate in the Bistro one evening and the meal was delicious. Drinks were enjoyed under the outside umbrellas late afternoons and the trio of dips was yummy with plenty of accompaniments. The staff were all happy, chatty and very attentive. The walk into town along the water was a picturesque stroll. We spent our time just resting, reading, exploring the area and enjoying our relaxing view. We will certainly return to the Grand for another wonderful break. Thank you all!

Room Tip: Apartments are managed by the hotel and thus individually styled. Unit 30 needs an upgrade but view...

We stayed three nights in a two bed apartment. The apartment was large, clean and basic, also boasting a laundry but the view out across the pier and the bay was stunning. I could even see the sea from the toilet! The buffet breakfast was adequate but not exciting, the restaurant meals were large serves but I would have preferred quality over quantity. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the apartments for the wonderful view.

We stayed the one night here with the outlaws and niece. We had an apartment with 3 bedrooms. The apartment was clean and tidy ,but very basic ,but was ideal for a one night stop.It had a large balcony and friendly parakeets. We had a meal in the main hotel which was very nice ,but inflated price for us Brits but that is the thought i had about Australia that it is expensive anyway! The room was a bit on the expensive side and If I had booked it would not be in this price category for a night.

Room Tip: Would have liked to stay in main hotel

When we first set eyes on the Hotel we were blown away with the heritage look. Walking into the entrance we were met by the most friendliest of staff which carried on through the whole stay.
the rooms are very spacious and the King sized bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever had.
The ocean view room with it's spectacular scenery overlooking Lorne and the bay were amazing. The menu could not have been better, caters for all tastes and the service was second to none. I recommend GPH highly and look forward to a return in the near future, thanks guy's for a memorable weekend!!

We stayed in apartment 28 which you entered one flight of stairs from the car park and another flight up to the apartment. Great view just to the left of the old hotel and very spacious and practical including a utility room! 3 rooms were clean and practical (one ensuite) will defiantly stay again hopefully for longer next time! Ohh and I love the pet cockatoos than sat on the balcony!
