Stayed two nights to do the apostles and surrounds. The unit was very clean spacious and everything worked. The Lady doing reception was very pleasant and answered all our questions with a smile and helpfulness.

We had a Queen bed and a bunkbed. Our bed was very comfortable.

We had a table and we ate our breakfast at the table. We had a fridge and a microwave.
Our shower was really warm and the AC worked perfectly

I liked that we could park our car nearby our room.

This is really worthwhile. The clerk was very nice as well. She wanted to give us a map for the region. That was cool!

May is late fall in Australia and it was quite cold at night. We had a cold night at a hotel near Melbourne Airport. To my surprise, this small hotel at Port Campbell have heated beds in addition to air conditioner.
The front desk was very friendly.

Unit 6. Queen bed and bunk beds. Older unit but clean and comfortable. Free washing machine and dryer just $2 for 30 Min. Short walk to town. For the low price have to recommend. No kitchen, but toaster and jug. Would be great for young family.

Website showed large modern looking units, but unfortunately we were not in 1 of them. We were given an older portable cabin, number 5.The bed was so short that I had to sleep diagonally across it and my wife had to sleep in the single bed in the other room.
Overall the accommodation was OK but not what we thought we were booking.
Would have booked elsewhere had we known.

Room tip: Don't book a family room or cabin 5.

Advice: DO NOT BOOK THE FAMILY ROOM, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. IT'S DEPRESSING WITH ITS DECOR AND FURNITURE.
First of all the web site does not show a picture of the family room.
Then the unit is off putting as soon as you get the key for the unit and know which one it is. Once you open the door you get the second shock by the distasteful DECOR and the luck of space from a family room. The kitchen is almost non exixtant, a very very tiny area with a microwave and kettle and a big sign saying "BEFORE CHECK-OUT KITCHEN MUST BE TIDY, SAUCEPANS, PLATES AND CUTLERY MUST BE WASHED AND DRY BEFORE PUTTING BACK IN CUPBOARDS.
EXTRA CHARGES FROM $30 - 50$ APPLIES FOR ANY EXCESSIVE MESS LEFT BEHIND"
Saucepans, how could they get dirty as there is nothing to use them on and cook.
That is very off putting when you first arrive especially after a long drive on the Great Ocean Road to get there.
When I asked the receptionist about where to hang our clothes, something we call "Wardrobes", i got another shock when she said there is a single coat hanger on the inside in a small shower room / toilet, but she may an effort to go and get my wife and I two coat hangers. What a joke!! Be prepared to keep all your clothes in the suitcases.
Electrical sockets were extensions on extensions - no safety in mind considering it is after all a family room.
I could go on and on. So it's not worth going through all the issues about this so called "Family Room".
My advice to the owner is to knock it down and build a proper FAMILY ROOM and charge a bit more if necessary rather than fooling your customers.
My advice to customers is DO NOT BOOK THIS "Family Room". There are a number of other accommodations in the centre of Port Campbell which look a lot better.
Be warned !!!

Room tip: Try somewhere else in Port Campbell
