Stayed 2 nights in a tent with kids the weekend after Easter. Good location. The kids loved the space, the proximity of the river and the gardens, and the walk into town across the bridge was only around 5 minutes. The facilities are OK nothing fancy. Site was grassy and luckily a hedge provided some shelter against the 30-knot evening breeze. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about local and not-so-local attractions. At $50 per night just about the most expensive park we found in 4 weeks camping (including over Easter weekend) but that's what you get in a tourist town.
