Stumbled on this place after a long free car park search. Interesting menu, quality food and very pleasant surrounds despite bland external appearance. Water not kept in fridge but otherwise no complaints. Would go back.

What a great little find again. This is our second time to this wonderful wee gem of a Cafe. The staff are happy and friendly with warm personalities. With Wi Fi to help travellers organise their trips whilst having brunch, perfect! The menus is interesting and food wonderful. Presentation good also, not just plonked on the plate. The muffins looked lovely, but I had to go for the - Chunky avocado & Persian feta with fresh chilli, mint & blistered cherry tomatoes on seeded toast
+ poached eggs yummy and my partner had his usual Big Breakfast, which is what he has at every single cafe he goes to. He recommends it! We didn't see the specials board, as we were outside, so perhaps the staff could have told us about this, as it was worth consideration, next time we' ll know.
Bonus was the Cafe was open on the day we went over the New Year period, unlike so many Cafes, which we walked all the way to, just to find they were closed. Thank you IS IT for being open over this period :-) happy travellers. We will be back. Love this place.
Don't be in too much of a hurry

We had lunch here and were pleasantly surprised with the quiet ambience outside the back of the cafe.

On first impressions it looks like just another cafe with street front tables but walk inside and then exit to the rear where you'll find plenty of tables, many under cover, away from busy Izett Street.

Our orders were taken quickly and food brought in barely 10 minutes. One of us had the vegetarian breakfast that whilst it cost $19.50 was a large meal; the other had the Steak sandwich @ $18.50 that was probably better value.

Owner/manager David was very attentive, and we loved the astroturf on the side wall.

We've been coming here since this small Cafe opened several years ago and have always had a positive experience. Staff are friendly and professional and the owner/manager David always greets the regulars by name.

It offers good coffee plus all the standard breakfast/brunch options you would expect. For something a little different try the Shakshuka, a spicy middle-eastern baked egg dish. There's also always a few interesting daily specials on the blackboard.

Service can be on the slow side at times which, as long as you're not in a hurry, shouldn't be a major issue. Prices are about average for the area (ie. not bargain basement but won't break the bank either).

The outlook onto a supermarket carpark isn't a great selling point but we don't come here for the view. If you're in the area definitely worth a visit.
