This small gem is fitted out to resemble a railway carriage, quite appropriate given it's location diagonally across from Prahran train station.

The very well priced menu offers all the expected Thai favourites plus a few less commonly seen salads. Particular favourites are the entree satay chicken and any of the tasty stir fries. One word of warning: several of the salads are unexpectedly fiery. Service is friendly and unobtrusive but not the kind of place where you're going to be (or would expect to be) waited on hand and foot.

Currently there is a special offer of a glass of wine with every dine-in meal.

Not somewhere for a big night out but perfect for a quick meal on the way to (or from) somewhere else. For locals most of the menu items are available for takeaway.

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and was very disappointed in the food. I have walked passed this restaurant a number of times and thought that I should try it being an avid fan of all things Thai. We ordered: a Seafood and a Chicken Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Satays, Chicken Som Tum Salad, Pad Thai with no noodles. The soup was in my opinion too sweet for a Tom Yum soup and the chicken in all the dishes was extremely dry and unappetising. The service was indifferent and as soon as the waitress served our meals they served their own staff meals and that was the end of our table service. Almost felt as though we were intruding. Not likely to go back.

We had dinner here on the eve of our departure for Thailand. What a great surprise, it is the closest thing to actually eating in Thailand that we have come across in Melbourne. They have a good variety of meals available and the ones we chose had authentic Thai flavours. The prices were very reasonable. It was a great start to our holiday and we will ceetainly be going back very soon.

We went there during the opening celebration. They were inviting every dine-in customer to a glass of wine, so we stayed for dinner! We loved it, good food, good wine, nice atmosphere. We came back 2 days later for lunch and it was also fantastic.
I definitively recommend it if you are around!

Since this restaurant opened it has quickly become one of our favourites. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and my partner and I are slowly working our way through them all. Our stand-outs at the moment are the Red Duck Curry, the Beef Satay stirfry and the Pad Thai without noodles. They also make a mean peanut sauce. Staff are friendly, the prices are more than reasonable and service is fast, even for take away. We always walk away feeling sated and happy.

It's conveniently located next to Prahran railway station and just a few minutes walk from trams on Chapel St, High St and Commerical Road. If you're after a cheap and cheerful neighbourhood Thai, look no further.
