A wonderful stay for 5 nights, Cheryl's hospitality was spot on, home baked cookies, GF Brownies that I tried not to eat but was unsuccessful. Cheryl had great tips on local attractions, madeus feel very welcome. Great location close to town within walking distance of plenty of attractions and great eating spots. Breakfast got our day off to a perfect start. Thanks so much Cheryl. Albany a wonderful location

My partner and I stayed at Dunmoylen House for 3 days over Easter. The owner Cheryl could not have been more accommodating prior to our visit. The bed was a queen and she sourced two single beds to make a king bed for us. The B&B is a lovely old house with all the amenities you might need. You're left to your own devices but Cheryl would come chat to you briefly at breakfast and give you information about where to go. Perfect for us. Breakfast is a nice continental self-service spread with homemade muffins and Cheryl was again accommodating about my gluten-free request. There are beautiful Mt Romance products in the bathroom and a massage chair in the kitchenette area (where you can make tea/coffee and keep things in the bar fridge). There's even a house cat, Pebbles, who's very affectionate and snuck in a few times for cuddles. Comfortable bed, very clean, modern decor and a good shower. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Harbourside room, with a small balcony and harbour views which was great.

What a lovely place to stay and relax. Cheryl's taste is impeccable with her beautiful character accommodation home and service second to none. Nestled in the hillside with a tourist attraction on the side ( Ellen Cove ) and overlooking the bay, walking distance to an attraction is not a problem.

Room Tip: No need to concern yourself with choosing a room Cheryl will do that for you to best suit your needs...

Wow, what a gorgeous period house with cottage gardens and so close to the centre of Albany.
We arrived with instructions on how to get into our room and later met Cheryl...what a lovely host..nothing was too much!! Everything in the bedroom and common areas had period pieces and Cheryl has a great eye for detail...our bedroom, though small was beautifully decorated as was the lounge/breakfast room..our room opened out to the front of the house with a little balconey overlooking the park and glimpses of the port over the road. A short walk into town which had lots of variety of cafe's and restaurants. Breakfast the next morning was just divine..fresh sliced fruit accompanying the continental breakfast included in the stay. There was also off street parking as well. Will definately be coming back for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Our room was at the front of the house..so it was a little noisey with the road and cars parked in f...

We have just spent two lovely days at Dunmoylen House and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
What made our stay even more enjoyable was the delightful host - Cheryl!
As other reviews have mentioned, Cheryl is fantastic - right from the friendly welcome, to the beautiful breakfasts, to the helpful advice regarding exploring Albany. Cheryl also can arrange walking trips - we will certainly be back at Dunmoylen House again soon to go on a few of the walking trails!

There are two rooms (three at a pinch) and it is really well located -walking distance to the main street and restaurants. It is also waking distance to the Sunday markets which are very worth seeing.

The kitchen is great and the massage chair is most welcome after a day walking!
we look forward to returning to Dunmoylen House and seeing Cheryl and the cat and the dogs!

Room Tip: both rooms are fine - the garden room has more room and is quieter
