“Interesting visit - very pricey”

Positives - we had no idea about the origins and use of sandalwood, so this was a good education.
Negatives - the price of goods for sale was extortionate compared with buying the same goods elsewhere

“Sandalwood Factory Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2012

Stopped off at Sandalwood Factory Cafe on the road back to Perth on Boxing Day to have lunch as very few cafes/restaurants were open in Albany that day. Highly recommend. I had a lovely chicken salad with the most sublime inhouse-made mango chutney. Exactly what I was looking for after the excesses of Christmas Day. Great coffee and friendly staff. Cakes also looked gorgeous. Was able to purchase a jar of the chutney and stock up on favourite Mt Romance products. This cafe has to be one the region's best. Now on my must do list whenever we are in Albany.

“The Cone The Gong and the Bowl”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2012

On our recent visit to the Mount Romance Sandalwood Factory we indulged ourselves and took the most pleasant hour 'out' participating in "The Cone The Gong and the Bowl" experience. Sandalwood really does have some relaxing vapours, and combined with a bit of yoga and gong playing over our bodies, we could truly go to a deeply relaxing place in our minds for a lovely dreamy escape. I highly recommend this wonderful experience.
The shop is laid out beautifully, and their products are lovely.
