Very attentive staff with lots of activities for the little ones. Very good displays that are changed around depending on the theme. Good parking. An interesting real old classroom of hard chairs and black-boards well before the computer age.

We visited on a wet & windy morning and the kids had a ball. The local history display was informative and well laid out as were the kids activities. Be prepared as the museum is housed in different buildings which are not connected by covered walkways, so if its raining you will get wet dashing from display to display. Otherwise I really enjoyed my visit & we will be back.

Has great display of local content and always a very good section of topical subjects for young ones, on this visit it was about formation of crystals

Something for all ages. Fascinating history cultural and natural. Activities for teenagers and lots of photos with artifacts to bring the written text displays to life. Very well done and a highlight of our trip to Albany.

A great introduction to the history of Albany in the exhibits grouped in one place. We could see the Amity only from the outside but the museum had many points of interest.
