Located on Swan River, but with a motorway between us and the water, so if you get the wrong room it is quite nosy. Our room, #1, was rather dark, being an the ground floor and set to one side. Room decor sparse and dated and unimaginative. Nice pool for swimming, and a restaurant that we did not try. Rooms have full kitchens, with adequate supply of cooking gear, crockery and cutlery. Plenty of parking, on a bus route to the city, and decent shops around the corner.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back, away from the noisy road in front of the hotel

Dear Richard,

Thank you for taking the time to review the Resort and we appreciate your positive comments regarding the apartment and Resort facilities.

The apartments on the Swan River side do boast a lovely view, however we understand that some guests may find the hum of traffic to be noisy and we recommend requesting a unit on the Ednah Street side of the Resort for future stays.

We trust you will return to the Resort for your next visit to Perth and that you try the restaurant, Breezes on Como, next time too.

Kind regards, Deborah Taylor (Resort Manager)

Nice peaceful and feel at home surrounding. Apartment very cozy and good facilities. The staff are very friendly. Location, you need our own transport to move around. Indoor and heated pool so children would enjoy during winter.

We booked 5 nights at the Broadwater for our 'babymoon' - our last holiday before the baby is born :-)
We had a small hiccup with the room we were originally allocated, but staff were very responsive and friendly in getting us changed to another room, which was perfect.
The rooms have everything you would need, washer, dryer, kitchenette etc. The bed was really comfy and the rooms were spotlessly clean.
Loved the Ipod docks in the bedrooms, didn't have to worry about finding my charger!
We loved the quietness of our room, we slept so well!
The pool area is fabulous, nice and big with one section undercover, a mushroom fountain for kids to play under, and a big spa.
Every single staff member we came across was lovely, from the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies :-) But I'd like to make a special mention about 'Will' who works at the the front counter - what a nice guy, nothing was too much trouble for him and he treated us like old friends! If I owned a hotel, he's the sort of guy I'd like working for me :-)
Great stay and we'll be back again with our future family!

Dear KalgoorlieAustralia,

Congratulations on the delightful upcoming addition to your family and we are delighted you chose to relax and treat yourself at our Resort before their arrival.

Your great feedback has been passed on to all staff as we like to recognise that it is every small encounter with every one of our team that makes a difference to our guests. In particular it is great to see that our newest addition to the Front Office Team - Will - made you feel so at home. We think he's pretty terrific too.

We look forward to seeing you back at the Resort soon and getting to meet your little one.

Best wishes,
Deborah Taylor (Resort Manager)

Good - well it's well appointed with washing machine, dryer and fully functional kitchen. A pool that kids were obviously enjoying.
BAD - despite a non smoking policy the place was replete with dirty smokers everywhere loitering outside their rooms or anywhere else they wandered, with the stench of cigarette smoke contaminating our room, quite noticeable on arrival. There are ashtrays outside each room on the tables, which just encourages these selfish grubs. No one seems to clean up after them. Grrrrrrr !!!!!!!
The place needs a designated smoking area, preferably across the road at the end of the pier, maybe on the other side of the river.

Good - the location on the Swan river is beautiful, and some great places to eat close by. The resort doesn't do sit in breakfast through the week, so this is handy.

Dear Bruno d,

Thank you for taking the time to review our Resort and it is clear that despite this issue of guests smoking that you enjoyed your stay with us and made the most of our many facilities.

As you've mentioned, the Resort does promote a non-smoking policy, however we are mindful that some guests will smoke around their rooms and to minimise the amount of litter that results, we do provide ashtrays and butt-bins for disposal.

Your choice for a designated smoking area is certainly interesting and at least guests would have a nice view...before they got very wet!

Kind regards
Deborah Taylor (Resort Manager)

We stayed here because it was so close to our friends house and had everything we needed within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made nothing seem like it was to much trouble. We had a room over looking the freeway and river and had no problems with the sound proofing. We would definitely stay here again.

This is our third stay here. Good sized rooms and good bathrooms. The rooms are clean and simply decorated. All the amenities are there for your stay. We had to pay for WIFI but it didn't work too well. Good secure parking. The Kwinana Freeway is noisy, ask for a room at the back or just accept it. Easy location to Perth, close to restaurants and an IGA supermarket for meals or take aways. Great pool and facilities. Friendly staff at check in, would be good to get a bit more local information for restaurants etc.

Room Tip: Choose a room off the highway

As near to Swan River, Perth, that you can get. Separated by the highway but no noise once your in the apartments. We happened to stay at the time the WA School Country Week was happening, but didn't have any problems with noise or anything. Staff were very accommodating and the meal was superb in the in-house restaurant. Certainly a decent place to stop on our way to the airport and home to the UK.

Room Tip: We were in an apartment on the side, so although we didn't have a direct view of the Swan River...
