“Mandurah - a new and great hotel to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 December 2012

We had an overnight stay at the new Sebel a few months ago. It is truly an asset to Mandurah. The room was very comfortable. A short walk to Dolphin Quay shops and restaurants. We didn't eat at the hotel because of the good cafes and restaurants close by that we wanted to try. The room location was quiet, we overlooked the carpark area which wasn't all that bad because the gardens are quite lovely. The only criticism is that the extensive carpark is a little bit of a walk to the main entrance and in wet wild weather (as it was when we stayed) it was not pleasant. You can drop off luggage etc at the main entrance first then go and park.

Room Tip: Really don't think you could get a bad room.

During our stay we enjoyed the central location of the hotel... The extra large bathroom.. Free parking....the balcony views...dinner in the restaurant was lovely...defiantly will be visiting again being close to all the cafes and the markets made for an enjoyable time..the hotel is beautifully air conditioned and allowed us to escape the heat ...the staff were very friendly and helpful...a lovely little getaway .

My wife and I have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Sebel. Very spacious room, nicely equipped bathroom and great balcony for enjoying a drink overlooking the water. Short stroll to pubs, cafés and the cinema complex. Small heated pool. Tiny gym with a new treadmill and exercise bike which is adequate for a cleansing workout. Staff very welcoming and friendly as were most people we met in Mandurah. As Mandurah is only a short easy trip from Fremantle, we will be back.

Room Tip: Roooms on the upper levels have better views.

Love this place!! We had our wedding reception here on December 8th 2012, & in the lead up too the wedding the staff couldn't do enough too keep us happy & feeling at ease as our big day got closer, & the big day itself went off without a hitch due too all of the staffs dedication & determination too making our day the best it could be.
The food was too die for, & the staff bent over backwards too see that our guests had everything they needed. The room we stayed in was the biggest room I've seen in a while, with the best balcony for wedding pictures too be taken on.
Right through till checkout the next day, we were made too feel like a royal couple, & our guests whom stayed at the hotel also said they were made too feel the same way. Honestly, you'll be sorry if you stay elsewhere

Stayed over for a weekend in Mandurah. Loved the Sebel. Great location, walking distance to bars, restaurants. Room was spacious and customer service was top class.

Only concern was that the TV was only 32 inches and there was no free wifi. I wrote this in the feedback form and got a reply from the General Manager a few days later promising improvements in those areas next year.

Will definately stay at the Sebel again.

Dear Eswaran m,

Thank you for your review on The Sebel Mandurah regarding your recent weekend stay with us.

Yes; we are definitely working towards installing WIFI into guest rooms on top of the existing broadband, and are working towards larger LCD's.

Thanks once again for your post and look forward to welcoming you back in 2013.

Stayed 1 night here (5 Dec 2012) and loved it. The room was spacious, very well maintained and spotless. The marina was very beautiful and peaceful. Wished i had booked a marina facing room instead. The room did not have a bathtub, which i thought made the room a little incomplete.

Had the pleasure of a one night business stay at Sebel Mandurah and was pleasantly surprised.
Well-appointed, spacious and spotless room with a ground floor courtyard overlooking the marina and across to the Mandurah town centre. Staff were very professional and helpful.
Quiet location yet close to all facilities and an easy 1 hour drive to Perth on the Kwinana Freeway. Competitive pricing will see me back there for a less business, more holiday visit to see some of the surrounding area.
A small pod of dolphins feeding in the marina during the morning of my stay was an added and unexpected bonus.

Room Tip: Water-view suites are clearly the premium rooms
