We had an overnight stay at the new Sebel a few months ago. It is truly an asset to Mandurah. The room was very comfortable. A short walk to Dolphin Quay shops and restaurants. We didn't eat at the hotel because of the good cafes and restaurants close by that we wanted to try. The room location was quiet, we overlooked the carpark area which wasn't all that bad because the gardens are quite lovely. The only criticism is that the extensive carpark is a little bit of a walk to the main entrance and in wet wild weather (as it was when we stayed) it was not pleasant. You can drop off luggage etc at the main entrance first then go and park.
