Dolphin Quay Apartment Hotel

Beautiful, quiet location. Clean, modern and comfortable. My partner and I stayed here on a weekend away and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is great, there is a small marina beach just below the hotel, as well as a very reasonably priced breakfast cafe/eatery right below too (I think it was was called "Mrs Fields Cafe"). Within walking distance of the main street and estuary in Mandurah I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a marina view, because the other ones all have views of the carpark.

My wife and I booked a 1 night stay at this property. Check in was simple, easy and friendly, the man behind the counter was professional and explained the parking and how to get to our room. Parking is in a secure basement carpark and it's just a short lift ride to the room.
The room was excellent, we booked a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious, clean and very well appointed. The balcony was a good size with comfortable outdoor furniture and a Weber Q BBQ.
The view is fantastic, overlooking the marina and Dolphin Quay. Below our room was the 'Oyster Bar' where we had a few drinks and sampled their different oyster dishes, and a cafe/restaurant that is open at 6.00am for a coffee and breakfast.
Opposite is Dolphin Quay where there are 5 more restaurants and another couple of bars.
We are looking forward to staying here again whenever the opportunity arises.

Room Tip: Marina view rooms are the best. Second floor rooms have a better view than first floor.

We stayed from the 2nd to the 6th January and had a really nice time. Very friendly lady at check in, gave us all the necessary information. Apartment was very clean and obviously modern. We enjoyed having the BBQ on the verandah. Would definately go back and recommend to others.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for one night overlooking the marina. Apartment was very spacious, clean and modern and we enjoyed cooking a snack on the webber q and a few quiets prior to a beautiful dinner at a restaurant just within walking distance. People are friendly, view was beautiful, location perfect and although you saw lots of people down below it was very peaceful and quiet. Downside our exhaust fan over our stove didn't work and the gas bottle was running very low but we managed. Would recommend these apartments to anyone, we came down from Perth for our anniversary and we will definitely be coming back, next time with our kids. So much to do for all.

Room Tip: Swimming pool, well you've got the marina right at your door step.

Stayed at this location for two nights from December 2012 New Years Eve. Interesting the cost of the accommodation (for two nights) had to be paid in full prior to arrival. Bit late then if the accommodation didn't suit. However we found our time there to be most pleasant. Locating the establishment at the start was an iissue. Whilst we were informed via the receipt to follow the signs from Mandurah Terrace we were looking for signage advertising the Crest Mandurah - as this was the name we were given. After 35minutes driving around the Mandurah Marina with perspertion and the stress levels climbing rapidly for it was a very hot day, we eventually found the place. A three story building with no sign on the building. There was however a small sandwhich board approximately 400 x 400mm on the verandah obscured by shrubs from the road in front of the main door one level up from street level. We mentioned this to the person behind reception only to be met with an attitude of not really caring.
We were just glad to get inside an air conditioned unit and were very pleased with the layout, cleanliness and above all the view.
It was within easy walikng distance to a host of restaurants on Dolphin Quay.
As we are in the 'older' age group we expected to hear some New Years eve celebrations but heard nothing. The units are very sound proof.
Would not recommend attempting to take a vehicle with lowered suspension to the underground secure carpark. One is likely to leave all exhaust and part of the underbelly at the entrance gate at street level.

Room Tip: Would suggest units reasonably close to the lift. There is a bar on the ground floor at the north en...

Thank you for your review, however I am a little disappointed with the information you have provided as it gives the impression that we are difficult to find even after the clarification provided to you when you checked in. On check in you mentioned that there were no directional signs or signs on the building providing directions to the property. I advised that there are the following directional signs;
An illuminated neon pointer sign on Mandurah Terrace saying "Quality Suites Crest >"
A pointer sign at the next intersection on Ormsby Terrace saying "Quality Suites Crest >"
A pointer sign at the next intersection on Marco Polo Drive saying "Quality Suites Crest >"
A pointer sign at the next intersection on The Lido saying "Quality Suites Crest >"
An Illuminated neon sign measuring 4 metres by 500mm on the building above reception saying
"Quality Suites Reception"
You mentioned you were not looking for Quality Suites Crest, you were looking for Crest Mandurah. I referred to the booking letter you had with you that stated the booking as Quality Suites Crest Mandurah. I apologise if you think I appeared a little uncaring, however I am not sure there is any more we can do to advertise our location, and expressed that you were not referring to the correct name of our Hotel, being Quality Suites Crest Mandurah,
I do appreciate your feedback and appreciate the other comments you have made, and look foward to you returning again.

kind regards
David

Excellent Apartment with views over the beautiful Mandurah Marina. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and enjoyed having a drink on the balcony outside. The apartment was very spacious, clean, modern with everything you need. Close by to shops etc. Walking distance to a nice restaurant/bar to have a nice meal at. The apartments are not exactly cheap however it was a great stay and we would return.

Stayed for business and this location is a nice change to staying in overpriced Perth. 1 bedroom apartment $199 (all apartments are the same - they just lock off a bedroom i think). I just had the road view from apartment & it was still "breezy". Whilst the apartments have all the facilities you'll need to bring all food / drink etc. Cafes and restaurants are all walking distance and car parking is safe underground. QB was on the hard side. 40" TV with 2 seater lounge was great. Bathroom and Shower were very large. When Tavern in complex is finished this place will offer even more...

Room Tip: Generally a quiet area midweek so any room is good.
