The food and service at this venue was a disgrace, something that this organisation and franchise should be ashamed of. I would not even send Basil from Fawlty Towers for hospitality training there or feed my neighbour's yappy dog with the sub standard quality of food presented on my plate and those that were dining with me. On arrival we ordered our meal only to be informed 45 minutes later by another staff member that half of the menu was not available. Some drinks were not available and those that were served were warm. The staff provided us with many explanations about the poor service, including lack of staff, and a computer system which was not performing. What are they using, a "commodore 64"? We are locals that eat out regularly. Unfortunately, we will not be eating at this restaurant again.

Surprized at some of the reviews, agree service staff could do a lot better but all very young. Always found food to be first rate. Love the calzone style pizza,s and the spicy meat pasta. The serves are huge.Drinks can be slow in coming, complained once and caraffe that was half full was filled free of charge for the inconveinence.

Have visited several La Porchetta restaurants and this one is the best. It is laid out in a series of rooms all with a different character, great idea, you never have the feeling of eating in a large restaurant. As ever the food quality and value for money at this Italian chain is excellent. For good pizza and pasta can't do better.

The food was a disgrace. I had veal parmigiana, the veal was like rubber and the vegetable were dry, something you would find in a self serve kitchen at the end of the day, and to top it off no pasta sauce.
My son had spaghetti amatriciana, very dry and overdosed on red pepper slices, he couldn't finish the meal as it was way to hot. My wife had garlic prawn, a very poor presentation of prawns in a garlic sauce of a bed of rice.
We should have trusted my wife's instincts, to leave, when the three of us were seated at a table for two and left to contemplate our navels for 15 minutes until a wait person cam any where near us. Won't be going back!

Went to la porchetta in Mandurah last night for our work christmas function. There was about 50 people in our group so would have expected to be looked after really well. When we arrived we were told that we wouldn't be picking our own food of the menu as we were expecting but that they would be bringing a selection of food to the tables for us all to share.
First was the antipasto, 2 small plates with a bit of meat , feta, olives, lettuce and cut up tomato for our table of 6, there was no presentation and not enough. My kids could do better.
Next was soup, the soup was nice but it was served in plastic bowls? We where also given a basket with 5 rolls in for a table of 6?
Next was pizza. The pizza was really nice. How ever we did have to ask several times for a vegetarian pizza as one of our group didn't eat pork. Some of the staff seemed inexperienced and struggled with any request outside of there set menu.
Next was pasta. We were bought a bowl of vegetarian penne and a bowl of spag bog. Neither was very exciting, they were just like you would make at home from a jar. We also noticed that other tables in our group were given a carbonara so we asked if we could have some too. The waiter then returned with a half eaten bowl from one of the other tables and told us the cook had finnished cooking carbonara and that we could this if we liked. This i thought was really bad service. We did then complain to a more senior waiter who did apologise and did then bring us some fresh carbonara.
Dessert , we were not given a choice of desserts only apple crumble with cream, how ever this time when we asked for something else we were given the option of a chocolate mouse.
In summary the food was average the service was not great
