“Great resort, with fantastic rooms & Pool”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

Highlight for staying here is the pool. - just remember your pool towels. King Bed in 1 bedroom apartment was 2 singles joined together and it was on the firm side. Room is well laid out, however those families staying may get disappointed with a bar size fridge in the "full kitchen". TV was great with comforable lounge. You need to bring your supplies with you as no mini bar. Reception does have limited items thou. Bathroom was large and great. Balcony is large too with a lake view if you don't pay the $40 extra for ocean view per night.

Room Tip: All 1 b/r rooms are same layout, thus higher for a view if anything.

Dear Brad290

Thank you for choosing to stay with Seashells Mandurah - we really do appreciate your patronage.

Yes, as we are a self-contained serviced apartment provider, we do charge our guests a nominal $2 fee for pool towel hire, and have found that this promotes effective use over the course of a several nights' stay, as well as helps to ensure that they are returned prior to departure. It covers the cost of cleaning only and is not a money-making exercise for us!

Kind regards

We stayed here for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom on level 5 with a beautiful ocean view. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely listening to waves every night. A $10 taxi ride will get you to the main strip of Mandurah. We used the bbq one day for lunch and all the cleaning equipment was supplied which was very handy. Definitely worth the upgrade to an ocean view.

I found the room to be clean and fresh, the view was great, very quiet at night. From where Seashells is located it is very close to everything, a short stroll down to Nth Harbour for some great food, then you can also walk over the footbridge to go over to M on the Point and around the foreshore of Mandurah. I just love it over here, it is very beautiful. Will be going back again and again.

We stayed in room 309 which had great views of ocean and pool. The room itself was a little tired and in need of some TLC.( Things like dirty ceiling fans, stains on couch, no light in fridge, bathroom needing regrouting, can be off-putting! )The second bathroom was nice (2 teenage kids) and balcony a pleasant escape to enjoy a book. The pool was fantastic and staff were nice. Would recommend staying here to enjoy an escape from perth. Resturaunts a nice walk over bridge and Good selection of food for a variety budgets.

Dear mmains

Thank you for choosing to stay at Seashells Mandurah, and for your most recent review.

Further to your comments, I was glad to learn that you would recommend our property as a pleasant escape from Perth. As a result of your review and observations, we will address the maintenance and cleaning issues specific to Apartment 309, and be sure to be watchful of similar in-room issues in other Seashells managed rooms.

We trust that you will be able to return soon to experience the difference in presentation.

Kind regards

stayed there for a conference in the 2 br apartment - only 2 guests per apartment but they left the 2nd room set up as 3 singles? some maintenance issues with the apartment and fairly basic facilities for a 4 1/2 star, cleanliness was good and the usual bleached to death commercial linen supplied was in good condition.

Room Tip: upstairs apartments have great views of the ocean and a reasonable sized balcony

My boyfriend was working in Oz for 4 months beforehand and I joined him for a holiday over the last 2 weeks. Having been apart for this long, we wanted somewhere where we could keep oirselves to ourselves and relax in the sunshine, this was perfect! We stayed in a privately owned 1 bed apartment on the first floor (beachside) and were really impressed with the decor, clenliness and layout. We were able to take a short walk along the boardwalk to the supermarket and cook all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or walk 50 yards from the resort straight onto the clean, gorgeous white sandy beach! We had some gorgeous walks along the marina and saw pelicans and dolphins up close. Our only complaint would be that we paid for an ocean view, but could not really see it between the roof of the villas between us and the beach, although it is still well worth the money! If we ever return to WA we will definately return to seashells!

Room Tip: Ocean view apartments are the rooms to have, if you can, make sure you are at least on the second fl...
