we wanted to have lunch here as it is a great place to eat but sadly it has closed due to financial strife. It is a pity because it was a great little brewery and restaurant. They cannot get their liquor license back, so sorry folks cross this off your list

Thank SammyPerth

This could be a fabulous restaurant in a great setting. It was however let down by inexperienced staff (hard to come by willing workers apparently) orders were being constantly missed or mixed up and people were queuing up to complain about missing meals. The poor owner was run off his feet trying to set things right but it was a disappointing day for us. I would love to go back but it would only be after they had rectified the problems they were experiencing.

Thank Peter R

We called in to Jarrah Jacks as we were in Pemberton and being I love boutique beers we had to stop for a tasting. We went up to the bar/counter and the (French) guy behind the bar didn't even acknowledge us! we stood there for 5 minutes with no response until one of the waitresses asked us if we were being served! 3 of the beers weren't on tap so we had a sampler of just the three, the girl wanted to charge us $4.50 per sample when a 6 sample paddle is $16.00! We said sorry but it's not our fault you don't have all your beers on tap as we wanted to sample them all - so she ended up charging us $8 for the 3. Then we tried them.......Just absolutely disgusting! probably the worst beer I have ever tasted!
JUST DON'T GO HERE!!

We have been here quite a few times and only had good memories. our last visit was good as well and we will be back again. we actually gave feedback to staff there how nice it was on the day. i suggest if you have an issue with something at the venue why not drop a set and tell them there and then so they can rectify the situation rather than logging on here being gutless with the tough comments.oooooo.

We called in while we were down there for the w/e as it was closed last year when we came thru. I almost wish we hadnt bothered. Hubby had a tasting paddle of beer which he enjoyed (no surprise there!!) and I had a wine tasting paddle as they didnt do them individually. This was quite pricey at $17 for 5 wine tastes. I have to say they were dreadful. The first 'sparkling' one was so bad we sent it back and they replaced it with a taste from a new bottle. But the wine was deep yellow - NOT a colour for a sparkling type of wine. I persevered with the others, but to be honest, the wines were all too old and tasted that way. A complete waste of money - they belonged down the drain!

We had a 'snack' of garlic bread, which we requested to be extra garlicky, and a "stack" of potato skins with avocado and bacon. The garlic bread tasted like it'd been heated and re-heated too many times as it was very dry and definately NOT a lot of garlic or butter evident. The "stack" of skins was very small and barely enough for 1 as a meal let alone 2. It was tasty enough though I expected them to be crispy and they were quite soggy.

Dont think we'll bother returning to this one despite its awesome views over the vineyards.
