Had a wonderful time at Pump Hill Farm late October 2011. Beautiful valley full of graving sheep, goats and cows right at our backyard, Horses right outside our front door, free roaming lambs, chicken and ducks, tractor ride to feed the cows and every other farm animals, the little ones collected freshly laid eggs from the coop and we had a OZ-styled BBQ with the live-stock looking on!! Is it any wonder my 2-year-old boy went STARK RAVING MAD?!! He's still talking about the place 4 months later :-)

We are definitely planning a 2nd trip!

The kids loved the tractor hayride and feeding the animals. The cottage itself was well stocked. There were six of us so the only downside was sharing one bathroom but we survived. Worth staying and would recommend it. Many of our friends had stayed there previously so we knew it would be a positive experience. We were not disappointed.

Pump Hill Farm Cottages is a very relaxing place to be in. It is located on a very nice and scenic 'hilltop'. Blue blue sky decorated with cotton bud like clouds, green green grass with littered with small yellow flowers, we wished that we could spend more then the three days we stayed there.

My kids enjoyed the tractor rides and the feeding of the animals in the morning. My in-laws enjoyed the fresh hen and duck eggs. I just wished that there is a hammock that i can sleep in under the shades of the fruit trees. The animals are very tame and friendly and they are very well taken care of.

Overall we are happy with this place and someday we are going back, again.

We have stayed at Pump Hill Farm for week long holidays and lots of weekend breaks for many years now and it just gets better each time we visit, the welcome is always friendly and genuine it always makes for a great start to the stay there.
The peace and tranquility at Pump Hill Farm is such a wonderful change from the City with the spacious and extremely clean cottages, very comfy beds and lounges, lovely log fires (with all wood supplied for you) and plenty of hot water, all the utensils you would ever need in the kitchen... also having the laundry facilities is a big bonus, you couldn't ask for more.
Staying at Pump Hill Farm with my grandchildren is an absolute pleasure, they are free to explore and play, being able to feed all the animals and then to collect the eggs from the hens and ducks is a huge treat, the hay ride each morning is very exciting for them which they always look forward to. Pump Hill Farm is a place you never get tired of going back to.

Room Tip: Any cottage you choose has great views and the highest standards.

The cottage was spacious, very well maintained and clean despite it being on a farm. Even a step stool was provided for the kids in the bathroom. The misty valley view in the morning was beautiful. I only wished I was more "awake" to take it all in. On the downside, I had hoped to see more varieties of animals like rabbits, pigs and alpacas. We saw cows, goats, donkeys and fowl. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
