We really enjoyed our stay. 50m our the front door and you’re past the pool and spa and footsteps from the surf - walk out the back door and you’re on Hastings St.

We loved it - more comfort than a hotel room and a bit more beach casual vibe. Some parts of the apartment are a bit tired but the finishes are high-end.

This is our second visit to Sandcastles. This time we had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment which overlooks the bushland. The room was well equipped and very spacious. The proximity of this location to all the best things on Hastings St is also what I really like about it. Heading straight out the 'back' to the pool or to the beach, you find yourself at the 'quieter' end of Noosa Beach. Directly across the road from the apartments you find a host of shops and restaurants/bars, but anywhere along Hastings St you'll get the (I personally like Miss Moneypenny's!). Their is little noise during the night and it's safe and peaceful. We really love the location and hospitality the (new) owners Mark and Shannon extended to us. Nothing was too difficult to ask for and they were always on hand should you need help with directions or getting a pesky wasp out of your bedroom! I would definitely head back and I know that one of my friends that stayed for a couple of nights (from Brisbane) will look to head back there herself. Just a lovely hidden gem, great value, great location and we just love it there. (One thing I would just add, is that as a reminder to the 'owners' of the apartments, knives should be sharpened every now and then!). Thanks for having us!

Room Tip: I believe the one bedrooms and loft apartments overlook the pool with some views to the beach. 2 beds overlook the park. All are good!

We had the most amazing 4 nights at Noosa sandcastles ! Mark and Shannon are great hosts and mangers of the apartments. We stayed in no. 11 which has been renovated and has views to the pool and gardens/beach. Would highly recommend staying here , it's on Hastings st but at the quite end. Hope to come back this year or early 2019 holidays!

We were recommended to stay at Sandcastles by friends of ours and it didn’t disappoint. The room was well appointed, clean and had everything you need for a self-contained apartment. We found the location absolutely perfect as it is right on Hastings Street and absolute beachfront. It is easy access to everything but far enough away from the crowds at the other end. We’ve already rebooked our next holiday at Sandcastles. Highly recommend it.

Great little beachside apartments on Hastings Street. At the quieter end of Hastings Street, older style apartments that have been tastefully renovated and refurbished. You do have to walk up stairs to get to the apartments but I didn’t find this an issue even being 6mnth pregnant with a toddler in tow.

The apartments are light and airy and each one has slightly diffferent furnishing.

What made our stay exceptional though is the excellent customer service we received. We originally booked a ground floor apartment (apt 5) however the bed was really uncomfortable. The managers Shannon and Mark were fantastic about the feedback and said they would let the owners know. Further to that, as there was another apartment available they let us swap over (to apartment 10). The new apartment was much nicer than the original (newer furnishings) and the bed was also much more comfortable.

Room tip: as they are upgrading the rooms - some are nicer than others so book directly with the onsite management and ask for one of the newly renovated apartments. Apartment 10 is lovely, whereas apartment 5 needs a new bed and new couches - but those should hopefully be upgraded in the coming months.

Thanks again to Shannon and Mark for making our stay so enjoyable with your wonderful customer service.
