“Girlie weekend- Very good overall but with some low points”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

Six friends staying for the weekend as a surprise for our friend who was celebrating her 50th birthday. Overall we had a wonderful time, the apartments were clean and had everything we needed. We booked in on the girlfriends package and it included a full massage and use of the spa for each of us, that was wonderful and the spa is just lovely. We enjoyed a champagne morning tea which was also part of the package again that was very nice.
There are a few things that need to be addressed without doubt, both mornings at breakfast guests were constantly having to request more of the basic breakfast staples, bacon, bread. The breakfast station is understaffed and unfortunately the staff there come across as rather jaded. This was a first girlie weekend away for our party in a long time and part of that is lingering over breakfast or having an extra coffee. This was not appreciated by certain members of staff. At one point a waitress began to clear plates that were not finished and after the third person in our party explained that they weren't finished she loudly complained that the cutlery placement indicated that we were. Not only is this rude but the etiquette of cutlery is not a lesson that needs to be taught to your paying guests. The general manager was there and was very pleasant and checked in with the guests. Unfortunately we were left with a sour taste in our mouths when on our final morning we ordered coffees from the bar ( approximately 4ft from our table) and on delivering them the waitress declared that she didn't have time to deliver our coffees personally and if we wanted anything to come and get it. She was so rude that we were all stunned into silence she then hastily said that she was sorry that she couldn't wait on the table unfortunately she may have uttered an apology but it wasn't in the least heartfelt as a matter of fact quite the opposite. The lady in question is pregnant and she had been very short and rude with a few members of our party over the weekend which each individual chose to ignore but I feel for all of us that was the final straw. Naturally it can be hard to always be at your best when in hospitality but based on their rating and general good standards I feel some staff training and genuine client interest is vital. It is not enough to say the words it is very important to mean them.
Overall we enjoyed our trip, dinner was excellent and our waiter was enthusiastic and helpful while they don't have a cocktail list we loved the champagne he recommended in lieu. I feel most in our party would be happy to return especially for the spa but I do hope they hear what people are saying as it seems to be a recurring issue. I will definitely return for a day spa at the very least overall a very enjoyable time.

Room Tip: The apartments are shady which is wonderful in the Qld summer but chilly in the winter a few throws...

2 bedrooms place for us, self contained clean rooms, just nice.
Good breakfast, good gym for a resort ! Very Good restaurant
I can very easily go back to noosa and stay there!
Close to noosa 15 dollar cab. Not to expensive reasonable place to have a nice relaxing weekend.

We stayed here for 6 nights.
The golf and spa facilities were good, however overall we were very disappointed with the service, value and distance from other restaurants / bars.
The receptionist seemed disinterested & unfriendly when we checked in. It was made very clear to us that this was a self-catering accommodation and that despite the fact we were there for 6 nights our rooms would not be serviced during our stay.
We ate in the restaurant one night and although the food was good, it was overpriced and there was no atmosphere. The bar closed before 6pm some evenings and was closed for dinner several days so we had no choice but to get a cab out of the resort.
The breakfast buffet was rarely complete - we often had to wait for items to be replenished or go without breakfast basics (such as bread / eggs / coffee) even outside of peak times.
Would not return to or recommend the accommodation.

Set in stunning surroundings this place is perfect if you are into golf, spa or a relaxing break. The spa really is world class by Australian standards and has excellent facilities. Great gym and classes too. Apartments were large, clean and comfortable. They are modern enough without being 'brand new'. The location is nice too, although as some have said its not the place if you want to be right in town - but if spa, fitness, relaxation or golf are important to you I can't see there is any better alternative in Noosa.

We stayed at Noosa Springs for 4 nights over Easter 2013, mainly choosing it because we held a family reunion dinner at the venue. The reunion was a wonderful occasion and the Noosa Springs staff were fantastic helping us plan and execute this celebration of family. The resort is family owned, and the staff all very friendly and keen to assist.
What we hadn't realised- not being golfers! (silly us)- is that we would wake to the thwack of golf balls each morning from sunrise, as well as the enthusiastic commentaries of the golfing groups tackling the course. So don't go there for sleep-ins!
The apartment was great- well appointed and fresh and comfortable. We probably hadn't needed to pay for breakfasts as they were a bit ordinary and we could have prepared our own breakfasts very easily in the apartment. There were also no linen changes unless you stay for 5 nights and with the high humidity and damp afternoons we washed and dried our towels ourselves.

Room Tip: Don't choose a room near where they Tee Off!!

We stayed here for a family trip to Noosa and it was all that is says it is. However, it's not for you if you want to enjoy Noosa for the beach and shops as it's too far really. Most holiday makers here were golfers and if that's what you want then it's perfect.

Apartments are very clean, well decorated and spacious. The pool and gym are lovely and the kids spent many hours playing here, but that's it really. We spent most of our time here traveling into Noosa.

Our family of four stayed here for a couple of nights recently. Rooms are starting to show their age and are in need of an upgrade. One of my pet hates are poor TVs and reception . I can never understand why so many establishments lack quality entertainment equipment. The resort needs to upgrade urgently in this department. Restaurants at the resort are good but not great. Location is quite away from the main township and restaurants . The resort golf course I must say is of the highest quality.

In conclusion I would probably stay in the township and travel to the resort for golf.
