world class walk thru bush with the best ocean view you can imagine. We walked down off the track to a small quiet beach for a swim and we were the only 2 swimming there - not bad for being minutes away from main beach at noosa

Australia is an amazing country, Queensland a state with lots of highlights, but the Noosa area is one of the best places to be:
I like the Noosa Nationalpark, because it is a place where you can walk along the coastline, without being only at a beach, where you can see whales from the shore, where you have nice sunsets, but the best are the turtles which you can watch from a cliff when you are looking down to a small bay.
And the best: it is for free!!! yes, yes, it is so untypical for Australia today, where everything costs a fortune, but this highlight is for free.

No visit to Noosa would be complete without visiting the National Park.

You can drive there from Noosa Main Beach but parking will be the problem when you arrive, especially in tourist season. Sunbus services the area but not sure if that still is happening nor the frequency of service.

In any case the walk there is lovely too on a boardwalk from Main Beach to the National Park.

There are numerous walks to take but it is the coastal walk which is the famous and most scenic one. There are plenty of attractions like Tea Tree and Granite beaches. Plenty of rest stop and there is a toilet facility along the way.

Walk to Devil's Kitchen (stay away from the edge!!!!!) and return is a great way to fill in the morning. Go early as it does become a busy thoroughfare later on.

You can walk the coastal route and return via the Tanglewood track but a lot longer with no views of the water. Our kids did not like option!

Don't forget your camera.

Noosa and the national park there is just all around beautiful! I highly recommend the National Park as it is free, the weather more than likely is great, and the scenery is stunning! I would however say to not go it alone. Some parts of the park are remote and I found myself in an uncomfortable situation. I obviously ended up fine but if I were to have a recommendation for anyone - take a friend with you! Especially if you are a female solo traveler!

right across from the place we were staying (10Hastings). Just a stroll over in the morning and a dip in the ocean was perfect.
